Intercepted package

so i ordered things from a domestic vendor on here. The package was suppose to be delivered on Monday but the status got stuck at “awaiting delivery scan” and had not changed since. Post office is suppose to hold my incoming mail as they’re making my new key for my mailbox as I just moved to a new apartment (been months, bad service) . And on Tuesday, informed delivery informed I was getting a mail from united state postal office but that too never made it. Any reason why Usps would send a mail a day after the supposed delivery date of a package? Should I be worried?

Still
“Awaiting delivery scan” around 10 pm, and that was on June 10th. Post office don’t know where package is even with the tracking number.

At least it hasn’t been rerouted. That’s when you really have to worry. However, the fact that it hasn’t been scanned in could mean they are inspecting it or the supplier hasn’t even shipped it yet and just printed the shipping label.

Informed delivery shows the package traveling from The original locatiOn to the location of my post office and was suppose to be out for delivery.

I personally wouldn't worry too much about USPS. That's just me though. It'll prob be on your doorstep tomorrow. NEVER sign for domestic though. That's a setup.

This happened to me. Scanned as out for delivery but never scanned again and was no where to be seen. When I called to inquire, they said the carrier that delivered it quit that day lol. Still no idea what happened to that pack.

Any new mails along with any mails in the mailbox are suppose to forward to the post office as they’re making my new mailbox key. (Just moves to address)

Would a box fit in you post office box? I know there are several sizes and the cheapest/smallest wouldn’t be big enough so they hold it at the counter.
