that is so fucking sick. I dont know why we bother helping them. Our country has enough problems as it is. We should be charging them oil to clean up their country or get the fuck out and let em kill each other
 
If that is the story about dragging the dead bodies through the street, it is definitely sick. We continue to lose lives on a daily basis at are spending tens of millions of dollars per week trying to solve a problem that was never ours to begin with.

And if you read the other story about the clandestine uranium enrichment facility that Iran has hidden out in Natanz, it makes you wonder why we are trying to bring peace to a region that will be forever at war. Quarantine, isolation, surveillance, and draconian measures enacted against those who cross the borders ....that should be our mission. Fuck it, let them kill each other, as long as they are not killing us, I'd just assume they massacre each other in the streets and self-annihilate themselves with nuclear weapons.

Let the middle east sort itself out....Israel needs to stand on its own and solve its own problems.


BTW, do you see Cold War No. 2 coming? Keep an eye on the chinese....all of those natural resources are going toward more than just steel plants and facilities for the 2008 Olympics.

Well Thick you read my mind on this issue, I wasn't sure how other people felt about it. We had a 19 year old girl from this area get killed there a few months ago. She joined the Guard to get money for college. She told everyone here she was scared and had a feeling something bad would happen. She was over there to help hand out food, water and books to women and children. She died in one of those roadside bombings. She was also engaged. I can't even imagine the horrible feeling her friends and family have gone through. This whole shit in Iraq sickens me.
 
Yeah Hogg its that story. I really enjoy the part where the guy says, because of this we must really turn Iraq into a democratic country. Like that is EVER going to happen. Looks to me like they don't want democracy to badly.
 
i read that also. It will never be peaceful. If our goal is to make peace there and we are stubborn about it, than we will be there long after you and i die of old age. The middle east needs to be left alone. let them crazy fuckers kill each other already. That is there purpose in life and our dumbasses keep tripping them up.

(sigh) And we, the taxpayer, provide funds for these ill-contrived attempts at global peacemaking.....yet medicare is going to be bankrupt by 2019 and SS by 2042....talk about not knowing where to place your efforts. We're just slaves man.....in truth, honestly, is it not practically a feudal system.....we the peasants make a pittance and they take from us, allow us to 'purchase' a small piece of land to raise our kin, yet under eminent domain, we truly own nothing and the rights to the minerals 6 feet below our parcel belong to someone else......we continue to pay, the feudal lords continue to tax, we make a little more, they naturally take more. We take our taxed earnings and attempt to buy something and they assess a fee for the purchase. We take a risk and buy something with no guaranteed value, it appreciates, and they tax us on the capital gain.......and if you begin to earn enough that you could achieve financial freedom, they tax you even harder....to keep you from breaking out of the throws of peasantry.....

There are soo many people who say "Love it or fucken leave it man.....America.....yeah....U-S-A U-S-A...."yet their effective tax rate is usually in the 10 percentile range or less......and perhaps IQ on a similar scale......serve your country.....I serve my country every week, I bend over and watch them rape my wallet.....week after week, year after year....paying into pots that I will never collect from...unemployment....social security.....its a farce.
 
Amen brotha!!!! There raising the gas tax in my state, 1-1 1/2 cents a gallon. I know big deal right? Well when you add that to the 38.5 cents (last I heard) a gallon thats a shit load of money getting sucked out of my wallet.

Who pays? Owner-operators and wage earners will shell out the taxes. Low income Americans who make up the ranks of the U.S. army and are now paying with their blood.

You're not in Iraq to help the Iraqis. You're not there to strike a blow against terorrism. You're not there to stablize the region. You're not there to protect the world from weapons of mass destruction.

No, you're there to fulfill the traditional role of of working Americans -- to swallow the cum of Ivy League pimps like Bush with a smile on your face because the apologists for Corporate America on Fox TV have told you that it's honey, not semen.

No disrespect to your post I understand your point, but popular to what you may have been lead to believe, most of us didn't want to go there. We live in a country were a very few of us have a say in what goes on. Do you think for one second I would have sent that 19 year old girl there to help those ungrateful pieces of shit. Hell no!!! I am going to tell everyone here straight up, I HATE all those oil bearing shithole countries. I know I will get bashed for this too, but Bush can go to hell with them. I hate politics, so this is all I have to say about this.

Anyone who joins the U.S military sings the same damn line and if they only joined for college then they got traped bye the bright lites of the sale sing that is just a ploy to get you in. If you really know what is in store the worst possible war . everyone who joins knows that death and war are possibilities of it even in the nationl guard and reserve hell the guard and reserve are the first ones in and the last ones out . i will tell you i have spent time in the middle east at the begginging of OIF and it was scary shit man but i knew what the rules of engaement where when i joined so i feel for my brothers and sisters dying but i have no pitty on the ones who joined for college or other shit! this is just how i feel sorry about the vent
 
All I am going to say is that "if you don't vote you can't complain". All this bitching on here isn't doing a lick of good for anybody. Everyone knows that Bush is a lying, stealing, no good piece of ****. He is about as good for this country as heroin is for a heroin addict.

Now what can we do? we can march our you know whats down to the poll and change all of that. The gift of a democracy.
 
this is where you and so many are wrong. People need to wake the fuck up and quit blaming bush. Our country has been on this path of raping its own citizens for decades. It has really been piling on in the last 10 years. That is why I do feel there will be another civil war. This country has so much potential if we would take care of ourselves.
