In 2027 the IRS is going to require vendor who sell bitcoin to issue 1099’s on the gain of those buy/sell transactions. This will definitely mean more tracking is put in place by vendors on your activities.

The IRS is always trying to help us out, tracking everything and telling us when we came up with the wrong number but not telling us what the number should be. They are always looking out for us.
