Actually you can put your gear in the microwave for very short periods of time and warm them up.

The reason it's okay is pretty simple. Smooth non edged metal and covered for the most part will not spark or cause an arc from the micro"waves".

You know there is metal in Hot Pocket sleeves and microwaveable Pizzas right? It generates fast heat but will not cause a spark(arc) or fire.

Naaa we wouldn't advise you to do something that would purposely fuck up your gear or microwave. I thought someone was fucking with me when they told me to do the microwave trick but it works great( also no sparks lol)
