Is PCT worth 10%? What's your experience?

My first cycle went great, gained 22 lbs, lost half my size and strength after, with no PCT.

Talked to other guys here, and so far, with PCT, seems like the loss is still considerable (one fellow said 40%).

I just paid a few hundred bucks for Novla, Arimidex, Clomid, and HCG.

The logical question is, why pay $200 (or anything at all) for something that will only let me keep another 10 percent?

Can someone tell me what part of the equation I'm missing? The test was only $135, so my pct is a lot more expensive, BUT it's like the law of diminishing returns. In theory I could have paid for another cycle and a half with that money.

How about folks share their experience with pct and without, comparing?

Obviously I'm missing something, just would like to know exactly what it is. Besides, I haven't been flamed for a while.

10 percent is not a definate number. if its done right u can keep much more than an extra 10 percent. u dont need all that stuff..u can get nolva or clomid for under 100 dollars and use that as ur pct. u can get clomid for 1 dollar a pill for 30 pills...so its worth it...plus having nolva on hand for gyno is a necessity

If you lose 40% of your gains while doing PCT, then something is seriously messed up with the plan.

This is my experience with pct.

I take 10mg nolva from the second week on to cut down on water retention which helps me keep my bp lower. I would imagine that a lot of your loss in size was water.

If i get gyno symtoms i increase the nolve to 20mg

Now my actual pct is to keep the estrogen build up from taking over, and to get my nads back to pumping.

As far as loss, i get a loss in strenght and size, but i always end up with much more than i started.

If this was a major concern to me i would do a bridge, but i like to come off and stay off for a month of two depending on how long the cycle was.

This is just my opinion

Well put, and BTW I hope you got enough of those items to justify those high prices.

with a well designed cycle and decent pct i usually keep at least 80% minimuim. my very first cycle i did not kno anything and i did not run pct and lost about 50-60% so i my mind its not the money issue it is worth it to me to pay the money to keep all the hard work that i put in at the gym. loosin the effort/time on the wieghts is what i care about more then the money BTW you can easliy get a good cheap PCT plan for around a 100bucks that will cover your bases on a basic cycle maybe cheaper if you run a simple cycle

true that

i always buy in bulk for clomid ,nolva and get arimidex in liquid i say if your gone to cycle then cycle correctly pct is a big factor in keeping what you have achieved from your cycle and alot of guys after a cycle simply quit training and eating like they were on cycle so this is also why they dont retain some of the muscle that they gained why on cycle ....Skyking.

Those seem to be really good stats (Bob, Einstein, thanks for the feedback...), and like you said, well worth it if you keep that much more from the work you put into it.

If you keep 80%, what do you do for PCT? I'd like to compare. I was going to do 500 iu hcg 2x a week, clomid at 50 (after 3 weeks off test, with a 200 load day) for 6 weeks, and arimidex, .25 for 50 days (due to my limited supply). Einstein put up a great URL from Pheedno's posts on another forum, which had the scientific data, but the question of inherent value of pct over no pct wasn't addressed.

I have no symptoms of gyno, so I figure why mess with more chemicals during my cycle. An old guy at the gym told me to take primrose oil when I got sensitive nips, and that took care of it, so that's all I'm doing during the cycle.

Any more guys ever do pct vrs no pct?

I already spent the money, so I'll be able to say something in about 3 months on what the effect was on me personally.
