Is pregnancy test a good gauge of HCG legitimacy?

Hi guys,

In Egypt right now on vacation and been presented with the possibility of buying HCG 5000iu called Epifasi from local pharmacies within Egypt for just $15 / 5000iu. I would be looking at a minimum of the equivalent to $40 for this in the UK.

The product is very legitimate looking and is sold by the local pharmacies with freezer packs provided in the shopping bag to keep them cool until getting them back to the hotel room fridge. They also provide freezer pouches for the suitcase to keep them cool for 20 hours.

The product looks legitimate though failed to show a positive on a pregnancy test. Showed a very faint second line. Though I did drop 5000iu into 50-100ml of tap water and added 3 drops of this to the pregnancy test. Again, it did show an extremely feint second line but I can only be so precise doing this test in a hotel room with no measuring equipment.

Just curious if you guys have tried this product and how effective the pregnancy test method actually is for detecting of HCG is legitimate…. E.g should I expect dropping 5000iu into 50-100ml of tap water and 3 drops on a pregnancy test be enough to assume it’s fake or bunk?

Really would appreciate some advice on this guys as I’d be looking at buying $600+ of this over here, hundreds of vials… as I plan to inject 5000iu x3 a week for the next 6 months to try and restart fertility.

Yes, it is a good binary test (is vs. is not hCG). It won't tell you about purity, you'd need a jano test for that. A negative pregnancy test is a powerful indicator that these lovely ampoules do not contain hCG.

A pregnancy test measures hcg in a woman's urine to indicate a posite or negative result. If you have real HCG it will test positive. I used this test many times back when I used HCG. I even had a thread on here years ago showing the process with pictures.
