Some people say that Testosterone on its own is a weak anabolic and does not really build much muscle/size. Is it true? Like there is no point to run test higher than 200mg-250mg per week, and best to add Anabolics as main drivers of anabolism.

Instead, they advocate Nandrolone, Oxymetholone, Primobolan and Oxandrolone as superior muscle builders.


How true is that? Why can't non-competitive trainees use Test only to grow quality size?
 
They can and have for decades.

So you think that the theory of low dose test and high anabolics is just that, a theory.

If we compare 1000mg of Test only vs 250mg Test + 750 mg worth of Anabolics like Deca, Primo or Anavar. Will test still match the gains from higher anabolic approach?
 
Who say that test don't build muscle? Who are those people?
If you don't have estrogen sides and you don't compete to run only test is enough to make you big. It's also cheap compared to other aas.
If I think what cycle was the best I say a high dose of test and insulin and I took almost everything is to take. Add some deca for joint support if you have some aches and it's enough for a gym rat.
Probably from next year I will take only test and add some deca once in a while and a oral when I need more strength.

I’ve never heard of anyone saying that.

I’ve seen people say you NEED high test to get BIG BIG. TRT+high anabolic won’t suffice.

I think there are plenty of ways to skin this cat. And it's much more about total mg than which compound.

No, its a straw man.

Low dose test folks often use the low dose not because of any "theory" that test doesn't build muscle but rather because they can run non-aromatizing compounds on top of dosing level of test that doesn't require AI.

This is not really rocket science or some novel thing.

Don't believe me? Okay then lets science it. Go inject 3 whole grams of testosterone each week for 2 months, and by the end of the 2 months stop all injections and let the water/glycogen bloat dissapate. Then tell me how much actual contractile muscle tissue you gained
