This is new to me. Does anyone know about Jade helm ?
I tried to upload a video but I cannot from my phone. From what is being reported is that our military is going to be doing exercises hear in the states in preparation for martial law.
Texas, where I live is going to be considered hostile for this training scenario.
The conspiracy side :
Russia will arm mexico along side with china for an invasion the same time these exercises are taking place.
On 9/11 we were conducting drills in preparation for planes hitting buildings.
Boston also had drills being conducted the same day.
So this is alarming if its true.

Also a "unknown" source has said there is a base set up along the mexico border with hundreds and hundreds of tanks that were shipped in by train. Apparently more arriving everyday.
Not sure how accurate that is but it is being reported by several different sources.

Is anyone following this and if so what are your thoughts?
 
Other than size and scope it's not really anything they haven't been doing for years. I remember there were even some live ammo "missions" in NC back in the 70's, but I couldn't find a link. I probably only knew about them because my father was involved.

Anyway, I doubt they feel they need to train much to setup martial law with the military. There's plenty of data showing the worst they can expect from most citizens is a loud "baaaaaa!", and lots of surveys of soldiers showing most won't have any problem firing on people in their own country. I just hope the reality proves different than the predictions should it ever happen.
 
Thanks for info... yeah Im familiar with these type exercises but this one caught me by surprise. Supposedly they are going to get civilians involved too. Asking them to report any strange activity etc.. Im not big into conspiracies but this seems a bit alarming. Hopefully not but I will probably do a bit more stockpiling of goods this next month.. lol just in case.

Maybe they are preparing for another Ruby Ridge massacre. Militia groups have demonstrated opposition towards law enforcement and are willing to assemble and bring out their guns and resist police presence. Militia groups scare the shit out of police due to their ability to organize and assemble with firearms. I guess the next step would be for the government to use a military-style approach to deal with potential threats that these groups may pose. The increasing militarization of U.S. law enforcement makes it extremely difficult, if not impossible, for even large groups of citizens to successfully overthrow government.

I knew a guy that worked for a union and the IRS came to his door and asked if he was "so-and-so" (he was not and they knew obviously knew this person did not live at his residence). They then inquired about certain people in his local, if they had paid taxes, and if they were part of a Sovereign Citizen movement. Well the guy utterly refused to cooperate with these IRS agents. He was then audited twice in 2 years after this incident. They basically had some suspicions about certain individuals in his local (who were part of a sovereign citizen movement) and harassed this guy in order to get him to disclose information (or even spy for them) about people in his local. Luckily he had his taxes in order.

@TheGuy85 I have heard about the IRS doing things like that.
My brother recently built a large greenhouse on his property and he lives out in the middle of nowhere. Nobody in this area gets permits for these type things. Anyways he had someone show up at door after it was built asking to look at the structure. He refused to let them, so they went to his neighbors which are several miles apart and asked them info about my brother. Stuff like does he belong to any anti govt type groups and even was he a christian with strong views. Kind of strange for something to go from greenhouse to extremist.
Also he is self employed and he gets hit with all kinds of new fees all the time.
 
Latest news I hear is 6 walmarts super centers are closing down during the event.

The reason is said to be plumbing issues and will re open after a few months..

No way it could be plumbing $$$$

My conspiracy senses are tingling more and more.

Also in rural areas around Dallas there are signs people are posting "Jade Helm is going Live"

This is one huge expensive training scenerio... WTF ???

It seems there is concern among some folks that this so-called training maneuver is just a cover story. What's really going on? President Obama is about to use Special Forces to put Texas under martial law.

well..Better late than never. Who knows? Why take chances. We needed somebody with cajones back in 1992 and 1993.
 
Of course being proactive would be better tactically, but guerrilla warfare at a later date is always an option. Large military forces keeping people with rocks and stolen equipment at bay doesn't even work. Ask the soviet union. Look at how well we kept the middle east straightened out. If things get horribly shitty private citizens will wake up and resist. It is a story that has been repeated over and over in history. On the plus side, waiting until it is a total pain in the ass and "too late" in many people's eyes means you are easily justified. In a world where we wait until the last minute to do anything, why would defending our freedom be any different.

Sometimes people need to be shit on for extended timeframes before they decide to fight back. Those who continue to sleepwalk through it and get steamrolled deserve what they get. The balance is always being fought between security and freedom and the pendulum swings back and forth. Some of the surveillance shit going on today scares the hell out of me. Our lack of privacy really bugs me. Hell, my phone(and anyone with access to that data) knows where i am and my habits better than i do. There is probably an algorithm that could plan out my day better than my wife and with higher accuracy. You have to pick your fights and ride the wave rather than trying to attack it directly.

If it becomes time to defend personal freedoms i would much rather do it the direct old-fashioned way than fighting it piecemeal through the courts, but that's just me.

Wonder just what he's referring to about eating Vietnam era MREs? Does he mean our government is more honest and trustworthy now than they were then?
By the way, I personally don't believe it's a plot to take over anything. Just practice for if and when the shit ever hits the fan.

I truly find it amazing and scary how many actually misinterpret this as a government takeover...And just the amount on this forum to be honest...But wait all the while they are truly awaiting this to happen they still focus their attention to finding a trusted ugl..(laughs) great American morals...!
