just a few questions for u pros out there

Hi, I'm 6'0, 193 pds.... not sure of any stats... still somewhat of a rookie.. this so called trainer at my community college is really stacked hes huge... he kind of took me under his wings... he says do 4 sets of12 chest flat bench.. then same with incline.. has me doin tri's an bi's along with that the same day... good? bad? also, im takin protein shakes, as well as this russian red creatin actijubes? lemme kno what ya think? are those supplemets nonsense an a waste of money? thanks guys
 
well what exactly are your goals??? Tell us what you want to achieve and there are a ton of knowledgable bros here in the training section that will help you.

I'm not lookin to be jacked like a body builder might be... although i do want to be somewhat big... nice chest nice bi's, was wondering if the workout o stated in my first post seems correct, and if the red russian creatine is any good.... also if the whole whey protein is good... ive been workin out for a month can notcie slightly... but not as much as i would like...

Or, if you want to be a man and put on some weight, watch the guys who squat and deadlift at your local community college gym....and then, once you have observed, by all means, visit the power rack and begin doing those lifts. Truth told, you can bench press and bicep curl all you want and you will never be "big". Being "big" means having some mass on you, your torso will not grow if your forearms are bigger than your quads no matter how much you try.

Train whole body.....a simple 2x per week whole body split over 4 days will work wonders for you, especially if you are green and playing with russsian "creatine".
 
IMAO, Joe, i dont really like your "trainers" workout plan, but if im correct there's a few guys in your gym who knows what thier doing. Follow your "trainer" for now but when your ready to step up, come and get down with the big boys.

YO, KNOCKDOWN... HONESTLY. ROB IS JACKED AN ALL BUT I REALLY THINK WHAT U GUYS ARE DOIN IS MORE ACCURATE... LIKE WORKIN WIT U GUYS BUT ITS ALWAYS HIT AN MISS U GUYS ARE IN THERE SOME DAYS AN SOME NOT... WADDUP WIT DAT?
 
Joe, Rob is jacked and im not saying he doesnt know his shit but hes just not my cup of tea. He's teaching you guys what works for him, instead of helping you guys find out what works for you. I hit the gym 6 days a week, mon, wed,fri I hit the college gym with you guys. Tes, Thur and Sat I hit Ball's up. I'll see you Wed and then we can work something out.
