Keto and ECA

I was thinking about combining these two after my bulk. I have 7 weeks left of it. I was 205 and am 220 naked. I am going for 230 which I am going to make easy, I might actually gain more than that. I am 11-13 percent body fat. After this I want to lose some fat and try not to lose muscle. I was think 4-5 weeks of Keto and ECA could produce the results I want. I haven't ever done the keto diet.

I am eating enough right now to gain weight. I dont know my calories I just eat.

I am at 250-300 g of protein a day.I eat a bunch of carbs.I eat fats also. lol

My idea was Keto at 250 g protein and 150 g fats. Also 50-75 g carbs preworkout. I would take 20 mg Ephedrine and 200 mg caffeine 3x a day and 81 mg asprin 2x a day.

I would lift everyday with one rest day and do fasted cardio in the morning 3x a week. Also stretching 3x a week. I don't do cardio at the moment since I am bulking.

Would this be effective in losing fat, and retaining muscle? I haven't done keto ever...
 
High protien will keep you out of deep ketosis. I would go 30 net carbs to start (total carbs - fibre= net carbs) and do .8g per pound of BW for protien then the rest on fats to fill your macro and calorie requirements. I would just start keto honestly then when you plateau a bit add the ECA then after a few weeks with ECA take a break and wait for another plateau before doing

So if I eat 50 g of fiber then I can eat 80 g of carbs. Is that what net carbs is at 30? When you say fibre?

Fibre? do you maybe mean fiber, eh???
I'm not sure what .8g per lb of bw would get him, but 65% of your caloric intake is the lowest you want to go for fat on keto, correct?

I've been absent for a minute, but I don't think I have ever seen you post pics.
220 @11% is impressive, if that is indeed where you are at.

I'm not sure what .8g per lb of bw would get him, but 65% of your caloric intake is the lowest you want to go for fat on keto, correct?
The 60-65% fats is indeed ideal and a guy his size should be able to use the .8g per lb with still being in a decent deficit I just don't like the idea of shooting for super high deficit and then having nowhere to go. For keto the deepest I ever was has been with .6g per lb of body weight but I was also 5 weeks into the cut at that point.

I havent since this new cycle I have been on. Right now I just hoped on scale I am 226. Most I ever weighed. My 6 pack is still there and it is getting better actually. I will post soon. I got 5-6 weeks left.

As for Keto I am thinking about maybe anavar while doing it. But then again If I ran a simple cut cycle I feel like I might hold up nice and look ok. So Keto might not be the best. I still have some time to think about it.I am almost at my goal of 230 though. Thats 25 pounds in 15 weeks right now.
