The guy is 9 weeks out and a lean 250 lbs. You have to realize this is a freak we are talking about. This guy could take half the year off training altogether and come into shows looking incredible. Nobody is giving shit to Dexter Jackson abt competing and he is only 5-6 years younger than Kevin. I hope Levrone shocks everyone and kicks ass. He is doing the show for the love of bodybuilding, not the title of Mr O. You have to at least respect that

All the top five guys are freaks. Possibly top 10 even.

I think what you'll end up seeing over the next few years is Phil Heath making history with the most Olympia wins, but men's classic physique will take over. The issue with men's physique and bodybuilding nowadays is if you've seen one you've seen them all. But classic physique bring a while new element to the game. They can push the border between lean and bodybuilder-ish but still set themselves apart from each other.

It's like back in the real days of classic bodybuilding, you could recognize each guys strong and weak points, posing styles, and body parts. Hell, you could show me a photo of a guy and block out his head and I could probably tell you who he was, not the case so much anymore. Classic physique should bring back the audience and real fans of bodybuilding.

I don't think it will come down to something that simple, but I think levrone will do better than many are saying. People forget how political Olympia is. Kevin is bringing a lot of hype and attention by bodybuilding standards. It's good for the sport. Plus he looks fucking solid already. Who knows what the final package will be. I believe he's doing a q&a today, but doubt he'll reveal much of his physique with things heating up as they are.

Is'nt Levrone one of those old school guys who bring the philosophy of "growing into the show"? A lot of bodybuilders used to use a different strategy than the guys today who spend a few months dieting down and they would actually add size and weight leading up to a show and the results were just as good as today's guys basically, at least for their era. If so he could come in massive considering he still has considerable time and is already big/lean.

Yes... When he competes in 02 i think 20 weeks before the shoow he was 175lbs lol

I think Kev is probably the most famous of all time for growing into a show. Fingers crossed he can pull it off this time, but when you see the size of some of the guys around now, I fear that even if he looks great he will just get lost next to some of the mass monsters

Much respect to everything you jus said Demond. I hope he takes it home an shuts all the shit talkers up. When it comes to bodybuilding, his age obviously doesnt mean shit. Looks like a tank an ripped to shredds. Now he has plenty of time to build mass if you ask me. Alot of guy's will say that he needed way more time to prep but they must not know abou his freaky quick transformations he can pull off.

It's a contentious point because Levrone probably would have never been made Mr.O - regardless of how he looked or what he brought on stage.

Do you really think the bodybuilding industry (supplement industry) is going to make the ambassador for their sport a guy who can take 6 months off training and drugs and still come in bigger and better than the year before?

Kind of hard to sell supplements to people when the man representing the sport pretty much demonstrates it's all about the genetics.

A successful comeback and a leader of the sport, Levrone would represent an image of beating all odds, believing in yourself, hard work, determination and fucking excellent attitude.

Supplements, shirts, shoes in any sport is sold by the image and Phil is a fucking boring asshole.

The industry needs a change and remake.

My question is how long can Levrone do it? Not sure if he'd come back again next year. That's more of a factor.

I feel as if he is laying all cards down on this run. I would love to see him continue but im not feelin him wanting to return. Maybe im wrong an I hope so but I really feel this run is to show everyone an all tue haters that it can in fact be done. Not many can come back after a 13 year break an do what he is. Competing with the top pros after such a long hiatus is unheard of. I hope he takes it but their are alot of really good looking physics coming into this one. Big Ramey an Rowley Winkler are looking freakishly big an ripped. Who knows what will happen but its gunna be one for the record books thats for sure!!!!!
