Knee Sleeves

After a couple knee surgeries I’m still having pain all the time. I’m 11 months post surgery.

I picked up some Rogue 5mm knee sleeves and they just don’t have enough compression. Not a power lifter, just looking for a tight sleeve that provides stability.

Anyone dealt with ACL tears or knee surgeries that have found a good one for squats, etc?

Also, I got some cheaper shoe inserts that seem to be helping for daily activities. Anyone had success with inserts?

Go get these at Dicks
$65.00 with tax.
Wear your compression sleeve underneath.
The straps work as hinges with more mobility. It works wonders.20201107_190451.jpg

I should check those out as need one for my right knee which is rather unstable (due to an old football injury) when doing squats or deads. Thanks for that suggestion.

Most of the time I wear a copper compression sleeve to hold the kneecap in place (patellar tendon was damaged) so this brace may also be a good help!

Those should be a great idea for the OP or anyone who has had knee issues or even surgery.

Strong sleeves from Mark Bell are what I use. I need partial knee replacements in both knees, and these sleeves work great.

If you want tight then maybe try buying one size down. They might be more of a PIA to get on and off though.

Or using compression sleeves underneath will give you even more support and compression, thus making it more safe and effective at the same time.

The solid sleeves tend to put too much pressure on the kneecap though.

The Strong sleeves were a game changer for me. Until I used them my knees felt like I ran a marathon after squats. Now, just a slight ache that goes away after a few hours. Everyone’s anatomy is different. I went through multiple sleeves before finding what works.

Yeah those look more similar to what I’m using now. Probably should’ve gone down a size mine slide on and off easily.

My last pair were the Strong sleeves and I had them about three years and gave them to my brother's roommate about a year ago and he's still using them. My current ones are Stronghouse Project and I like them just as well

I’m leaning towards those. My rogue ones aren’t bad I think I just got a size too big. How hard are yours to put on?

Meant the ones that have no hole for the kneecaps and the ones I have are a tad tight and put a little too much pressure on my kneecaps which causes me some pain while doing deads/squats.

The Strong ones were XL and they were fairly loose. My Stronghouse Project ones are medium and they're fairly tight. I have to put them on at the shin, fold them down over, and then slide up over my knee.

SBD sleeves all the way man... they are like $100 but they are great. Had them for 5 years and still going strong, although I did buy a bigger pair a few months ago.
They have like 10 sizes so u dnt have to settle for the normal medium, large, XL.

The are tricky to get on if you size down but I'll give u pointers if u need.

Sleeves should not slide on and off easily. I have to put them over my feet, fold in half while over the calf, then it’s a struggle pulling them up. They leave lines on me for about 30+ mins after removing. Pulling off it just as hard as putting on, but the stability I get is amazing.

If you're not concerned about competing, gangsta sleeves are my favorite. Order a size down. I wear long socks and they slide right up my shins then without pulling out my leg hair.
