L-carnitine and Retatrutide for Health Purposes

Hi guys, I’ve looked around the forum a bit but couldn’t find the exact answers to these two questions, I hope you can help me.

  1. I’d like to take injectable L-carnitine for health reasons and to improve androgen receptor uptake (is that how you say it?). I’d like to know what dosage is recommended for these purposes, how many times per week, and at what time of day.

2. I’d also like to add retatrutide for all the health benefits it gives, not for a cutting phase or weight loss. I’d like to understand what the right dosage would be to get only the health benefits without experiencing excessive appetite suppression and while minimizing the side effects.
Do you think this could be an integration to keep all year long, regardless of blast or cruise, just for health purposes?

Start low on your Reta. Maybe 1mg to start for week or two then titrate up to 2 to see how you feel. Personally at 2 I don’t lose any appetite. Getting up to 4 I’ll use toward the tail end of a prep since I’m on a deficit anyway and always ready to eat.

Exactly, what I’d like to understand is what the recommended threshold is to take advantage of only its health benefits, without having to push higher for aesthetic purposes or for marked appetite suppression, for example. Maybe I could tolerate even 6 milligrams well, but that would probably be, I think, a waste if the goal is only the health benefits. That was the point of my post: to figure out a standard dosage for this purpose.

Do you think is safe to use 365 day per year like omega3 ecc ecc

I treat it like any other compound. I’m not going to run something year round personally except trt and gh. I watch my bloods even on that. Lots of unknowns still with Reta. These GLPs don’t seem to have the intent of being run continually but rather until your goal is achieved. Reta is just better at helping retain lean muscle unlike others. Tirz is another but I can’t speak to it never used it or researched it much. I know Reta seemed to help my insulin sensitivity and my cholesterol when I was using compounds known to raise LDL and higher GH dosages. I’d recommend cycling it like anything else. So many weeks on when you need that assist and come off when you don’t. I would think at 6 you’d see some suppression but it’s not uncommon for people to run 8 but that’s prob extreme situations with lots to lose. Titrate see how it goes for you don’t jump in deep end right away. It’s relatively inexpensive on the UG.

It's funny you ask, OP. I just began 1mg/week divided into 0.5mg E3D to see what if anything it does to my bloodwork at the end of October, all other variables remaining equal.

When I get my bloodwork back I will report in.

I've been on it for >9 months now, do not plan to stop as long as my supply doesn't run out. 18mg/week now.

I do not see any aesthetic benefits, if you want those perhaps you should be looking at stuff like botox or something.

What health purposes are you seeking?

Glad you popped in to get a great take of someone who’s ran high. I do get suppression at high dosages so def interesting to hear. Just like anything else in here. Different experiences to gauge off of for people.

I only get suppression when i increase the dose, few weeks later and i no longer feel it..Maybe i just got used to it?

I never thought of it like that. When I get back on it I don’t get full blown suppression but I don’t have as heavy hunger cues but they go away. Perhaps I wasn’t patient enough and panicked and came back down. Def a work your way up to high dose compound I believe.

I’ve read from you and online that Reta helps with insulin sensitivity and improving blood lipids. This is the reason why I’d like to use it, not for weight loss. That’s what I meant by “aesthetic” purposes, sorry for my English :)

The half life is longer than 1 day. So u can do EOD if u want.

damn, 18mg? whats your dosing protocol, certainly not once a week. Every other day? what dose did you start out at 9 months ago? Thats quite the jump in 9 months. another 9 months from now, where do you think you'll need to be?

I only started it slightly over 9 months ago.
I'm using SSA's 50 IU (1/3 of each vial) every week.
It's overfilled so 1/3 gives me about 18IU.

Right before this i was doing 1/2 of the 30IU every week, I finished a kit of that. I'm planning to go up to 20 IU/week once this annoying feeling on my skin goes away. Each time the feeling goes away I'll just bump up the dose.

pin 1x/week

I believe if you follow clinical trials, you should hit 12mg by the 5th month.
Dose escalation takes place every month.

I started Reta at 2mg around August 1, then went to 4mg September 1. I didn't notice any weight loss or appetite suppression until last week.
