L carnitine

Hey man sorry for the thread bump. Im about to make my own brew of l carnitine. I was under the impression that if you used back water you do not need to add 1-2% BA. Is that not correct?
You need preservatives (BA) in the final solution for it remain sterile in a multiuse vial.

If you use ready made bac water it already contains BA so you don't need to add it. Just make sure to filter after adding the powder because the powder is not sterile.

Thanks man that's a what I thought. Will do. I've got a case of bac water and 20 sterile 0.22 syringe filters. How many mls do you get on average per filter?

Also how long should the solution be good for after I constitute the l cart with bac water?

140 to 180 ml depending on substance. It'll stop up. Probably get a bunch of that stuff. Those numbers are for like test cyp and oil

I guess you could use BAC water and then push it through the filter but people already seem to have cloudy/mixing isssues. I'd just get the BA, mix the BA with the distilled water with a bit of heat and then add the carnitine base, then filter.
