I am going out there in November and while it will be getting cold there then I do have little expectation that things will be any better.
I had a buddy that stayed out there for close to a month. Just made it back this way in the last week or so. He says they are still on the covid bs pretty hard. As is he. He basically stayed in his room playing world series of poker online, the whole time he was there.
Dang that must really suck and I might now end up cancelling my own trip there

Hahaha...the worst part of his trip was the first night he arrived, he got there late and stayed at cheap motel.
Had had an ounce of good bud and put it in the refrigerator. Then forgot it upon checking out in the morning. When he realized he fucked up and left his nugs, he went back to the cheap motel. The manager told him to fuck off, that he threw it away.
My buddy is one of those guys I consider to be a smart dumbass. High IQ but no common sense.
Yikes, hope your buddy's safe after that experience. High IQ and no common sense is pretty common IMO. Bet that manager must have actually kept the weed lol.

I was there right as the shit was hitting the fan . It went from "hell yeah this is a pretty cool place to get me the hell out of here now" in about 72 hours time

Um idk the casinos temporarily shutting down, Hotels cancelling bookings, travel restrictions, toilet paper shortages, need I go on? LoL
I already booked 4 days there in early November, and also watching for anything about status of Covid. Got 900 smackers tied up (plane and room) and would hate to risk losing that.
Most likely I'll be spending time in my room if not in the casino in the hotel I'm going to stay at if not much going on.

No pool parties, clubs and show are still closed, masks are required everywhere. Not worth going IMO, best to wait until things return to normal which is hopefully soon.

Heading to Vegas for work for a couple weeks. Heard the gyms are open, can't fucking wait. Our asshole governor isn't going to open them up for awhile were I live
Place is still a fucking mess and restrictions everyplace. Get a refund, have a friend that lives out there and he says it's still 110% fucked

I’m in Nevada and it’s all pretty shitty right now. Bars are back open with a bunch of rules in place, restaurants are open at lower capacity. Nightclubs are still closed. Mask nazis are everywhere.
