Lat tear?

Did some pullups today for 4 sets, afterwards did latpullowns. I felt a little pop (a pop, like when ur back cracks and it makes a pop, not a feeling of tearing it) in my right lat at the last rep at 2 sets, but it didnt hurt so i continued training. Now i can feel the same spot 'ripping' apart, when i try to stretch my lats so i guess i tore it?
No real pain, i havent lifted something since my training (around 4 hours ago), no swelling or bruising.
How should i treat it and what could it be? (Minor tear, big tear, muscle strain...?)

Go to the doc if it's still funky in a few days. I have torn a bicep, not a lat, but I can tell you the pain with literally unbearable in a matter of minutes... Had a gun been in my vicinity, I may have shot myself... I can't imagine the pain of tearing a lat. However, your pain threshold may be different than mine.

Watch for bruising, swelling, redness, etc.

the thing is atm there is no real pain feeling whatsoever. maybe when i stretch i can feel a little burning sensation (kinda like soreness but also like ripping apart the muscle if i stretch more).
I also stop stretching not because it hurts but because im afraid to rip it open even more IF its a tear..

Just leave it alone for a week and reevaluate. I would guess a strain, not a tear. Nonetheless, stay off it.
 
If it was a tear you'd know... Lol. Sounds like a minor strain. I've had a few pec tears, and you know when you've torn it. Rest it for a week or so and test it out...
 
There is no second guessing a tear :( when it happens you know it. (Anything substantial, anyway)

How you feeling now OP?
