Leaky Test Vial

Hey guys,

I need a little advice. When I got my vial of testosterone the other day it was leaking out the side a bit, not a lot, maybe like .5ml max, but enough to make the outside of the vial kinda oily. Obviously I’m not going to inject it out of fear of getting an abscess, but I was thinking of getting a new sterile vial and a .22 um whatman filter and filtering the oil into the new vial. Do you think this would get of any bacterial contamination that may have entered the old vial?

Is $40-60 worth of test worth a possible infection?

I always filter ugl gear. 1 abscess was enough.

Yes. The filter is only $6 on ebay so smart move

Yeah that’s what I’m going to do. I would say I’d heat the test in the oven first too, but I’m starting to see a lot of info about how it doesn’t kill all the bacteria and actually just degrades the hormone

Oil on the exterior of any UGL vial suggests sloppy workmanship.

Inject several cc of air into the vial to determine if the cap seal is defective.

If oil is seen oozing around the cap
chunk it and as @Big_paul suggested
filter the lot or chunk it ALL and find another source.

Of course your a noob so ......

That would be useless
