See I think it's not douchey at all. I mean, to each their own truk. But, if I see someone posing, ( hitting actual poses ) I don't mind at all. I actually will examine and look. It's all towards someone's goal. It's very beneficial in my mind to truly recruit the muscles throughout the workouts and in between sets. But like I said, to each their own.
Most of the time when I see it in the gym it's some fag stick trying to big dog me. Then I'll have to beat him to death with a 45lb plate to reestablish my dominance. Usually some one much younger and less mature who doesn't like my presence or feels challenged. That's how it is in my gym any way. Kinda like imaginary lat syndrome. Everyone suddenly has it when Im going about my biz. How much ya bench broo_O
 
regardless of when you do it...whether intra-workout or at home naked in the mirror :cool:
the concepts do work though correct? You become more and more aware over time?
The biggest hurdle strength athletes (like yourself) face is checking that ego and lifting with bb form. It will almost always be much much less and it will be more controlled. Flexing is just another way to control. I for one don't do much of it in the gym because I need that damn energy to get thru my sets. But yes the concepts do work

Haha tell me why there's this chubby kid at my gym that walks like that! He rolls up his sleeves to show his flabby arms which he probably believes are true 20s but more like 17 chubs. His arms float in the air due to this imaginary Lat syndrome. I believe his cycling too because he started doing all this 6 weeks before he started to show slight "gainz"

Nah I think the worst thing I've seen is all these dudes that wear the compression pant "leggings" with a baggie "stringer"

I've worn compression pants, but with sorts over top to either
A.) Keep me warm or
B.) I'm doing circuits of deads and power cleans

(well now my girl, her training partner, and coach but I set all that up)

You have your own gym at home or something? In my area, being fit is "the thing" right now. Can't find a decent sized gym in my area thats not packed... worse thing is most look like non lifters, skinny dudes that think theyre shredded and buff and fat chick's that think they look hot. I was mad when they closed my old gym to reopen a new one across the street. It used to be small old and stinky, but empty. This new one is big nice but filled with seasonals and non lifters.

Took me 6 months to find my local gyn I go to now. Owned by an old bodybuilder who went power lifter and now he trains k9's..... basically all my favorite things wrapped into one building.
Everyone who goes there is serious about what they want, and I love that.
But there's one guy there every morning that just needs to leave.

I'm anti social. Pretty weird mixed breed. I can't be in a gym chock full. Makes my spidey sense tingle bad. I can't get what I need done and in general feel weirded out. I think I went once at like 1300 on a sat was loaded to the gills on tren and test. Drove in the parking lot and drove right back out. NOPE

there are 24hr fitness and things like that, cross fit boxes, milf cardio gyms...I go to a strength training and performance gym that specializes in Olympic weightlifting, sports specific training, and strongman. Not incredibly popular right now in a small rural area, and the hours are like 4am-8pm and 12-4 on weekends. No one in there before the sun comes up M-F.

Speaking of Arnie.... I did this thing called "Muscle box" where they send you a bullshit box with a shirt and some protein bars, a cookie cutter workout, and 15 servings of a supplement.
Really did it in the hopes to get a random pre workout I would like, but I got this gem instead.
