Hi.
Not sure if I may have reached My max potential or maybe very near.
Anyhow do the past 5yr’s I’ve had great progress with My current leg workout
But seems to have come to a halt with regards to growth.
I was thinking maybe it’s the low volume,
but I do take into account of the high intensity (for Me anyway)
That could be hindering the overall volume as it always leaves Me wanting to be sick for 30 minutes or so after the workout.
Are there any advanced suggestions that maybe I could look at you guy’s may suggest.
A brief breakdown at where I’m at for a proper valuation.
Warmup
Thigh-hamstring-calve stretching
Squats
3x warmup sets 100kg - 180kg x 10-12 reps
Work set
225kg to fail around 10 reps
3xDropset
180kg to fail around 9
Dropset
140kg to fail around 5-7
100kg (don’t count reps to fail)
Leg press
Warm up get feel of a different movement.
1x400kg x 20
Work set (to fail- 3 dropsets)
520kg x 18-20 reps
480kg x20
440kg x 13/15
300kg x don’t count reps
Maybe it’s the dropsets that are the reason for less volume.
Should I think about another new routine for awhile and maybe cutting out dropsets for awhile,
