Let’s see those garage gyms!

Very disorganized in this picture and missing some small things, here she is. Sets idle most of the time thanks to fancy gyms close by for cheap

Nice set up and great space to work with bro. I got a 4x4x7 power rack plus bar, weights, accessories and rack pulldown system in my bedroom room I'm really jealous of guys who have an entire room set up lol ;)

Thank you! In my old house I had 2 5x10 mirrors on the wall. No room here but it’s just a rental. When ever I buy another house it’ll have a gym worthy of membership dues.

After working on it for a year now, I got 3 final pieces in on Friday. Starting some personal training this summer. I hope to pick up a few kids that’s out for the summer. Give them a good foundation on how to lift....not this bullshit they’re “learning” at gym class at school.

Been super busy and haven't been posting all that much. I've been in the process of making a home gym using a room in our new home. I started a thread asking for floor mat recommendations back in August of last year. And UglyRichie's horse mat recommendation from Tractor Supply worked out well for me. I thought it would be difficult cutting the tiles around the wall but with a razor utility knife it wasn't all that bad. I was even able to cut a pretty nice rounded line around the curved corners of the walls into the doorways.

I've been buying equipment since last year but was only recently able to assemble it due to the room not being ready for the equipment. I smoothed out the old texture of the walls and ceiling, repainted the walls and ceiling, installed new lights and ceiling fans and laid a plastic vapor barrier under the horse mats to help protect the tiles we laid underneath. It's almost done. We got a cable plate loaded crossover by Yukon delivered today that I'll be assembling this week. It got pretty good reviews on scamazon. After I try it out I'll provide my input.

I bought a rack from Rogue as well as their Donkey and we have an Ironmaster2000 which has J-hooks, a cable attachment for back work, triceps, etc which work from the Smith machine which is entirely plate loaded. I like their (Ironmaster) rubber coated plates as well.

How do you like those power blocks?

What I love about them is that they save a ton of space. They took a little getting used to. Mine only go up to 90lb. I sometimes think about buying the additional weight to bring them to 120lb.

Since they have a flat side they're good for setting on your lap to hoist up to do dumbbell bench presses or dumbbell military presses. A lot of the adjustable dumbbells have the end of the rod sticking out which would obviously hurt digging into one's thighs.

One word: WOW!

That is a very very impressive home gym setup! I knew you been setting it up and purchasing peices for a minute now but I'd no clue youd take it to this level when I seen your original pics!!
