Okay so I was curious if anyone had any input on this as to why it would or wouldn't work. Due to work, school, and other obligations, I am unable to get in 6-7 meals a day. Would 3 shakes a day plus 3 solid meals a day work?
By shakes, I don't mean just whey. In them I put:
1 scoop whey
1.5 cup whole milk
1 cup ground oats
1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese
2-3 egg whites.
Comes out to about 750 calories, 60 grams protein, 60 grams carbs, 15 grams fat
My goal is to build lean muscle. A little fat gain doesn't bother me. But 3 shakes a day with 3 meals equal in macro's... Think that would work?
I'm asking because I have seen a lot of different opinions on shakes.
