Liquid Tesofensine

Tesofensine is typically used in microgram doses, so precise measurements and solubility are crucial.

A typical tesofensine dose ranges from 0.5 mg to 1 mg/dose:

1 mg/mL: Suitable for direct dosing with a small volume.

Thank you - I'm wondering if there's a best option for suspension, given that in the literature the solubility of tesofensine in DMSO is only 1-2 mg/mL (even with warming and ultrasonic process). Given that, you'd need ~1L of DMSO to dissolve... Would glycerine or peg400 work better? Does anyone have experience with this?

After some reading peg400 seems to be the best option:

Warm PEG 400 to 40–50°C, add tesofensine powder while stirring continuously, slowly mix in ethanol (15-20%) , gradually add distilled water or propylene glycol while stirring to reach the desired final volume, add a small amount of glycerin for sweetness or a non-sugar sweetener like sucralose.

If necessary, filter the solution through a 0.22-micron filter for sterility purpose.

These are recommendations based on different sources, I haven't try it, just yet.

Thanks for your response! I'm thinking I might try it out, however the smallest amount of teso I can obtain is 1 gram (about 6 years worth of what I need). I don't think it would last that long....

I think 200ml with 1g should be 0.5 ml with 500mcg, right? Can Use a nurofen for kids and mix it?
No. I gave you the answer but you probably shouldn’t be making your own solutions/suspensions if you can’t do basic math.
