well above a certain threshold ... Lets say you take dianabol (while your HPTA is properly functioning... ie not during PCT or soemthing), which has a half life of about 4 hours, at 20 or 30 mg, early in the day , so that it clears out of your system by the time you go to sleep (which is when LH is released), you wont be very suppressed because your pituitary and hypothalamus wont detect any androgen in your system at that time. That would be an example of having some benefit from the AAS but not being very suppressed, yet not optimal in terms of growth because levels aren't elevated around the clock.
On the other hand, if youre injecting above 200 mg/ week of a compound, your androgen levels are going to be elevated around the clock, which is good for growth, but suppresses the HPTA because your brain detects high androgen levels when it would be about to release LH to your nads.
Im not sure if 200 mg/ week is a super accurate number but I said that because Bill Roberts says that when you have less than 200mg/ week of levels at the end of a cycle is when recovery can just begin.
so morning only orals is the only way to somewhat dodge suppression of the HPTA IF its already working properly.
so if youre going to be fucking with your HPTA you might as well have some gains to show for it!
