Little help with first homebrew(s).......

Any/All help would be greatly appreciated.
I've been to basskillers site, and I've read just about everything I could find on the net/boards, and have gotten quite a bit of help from a select few bros here and there, but I still want to make sure I get it right!

So I'm basically looking for any TIPS and/or TRICKS that you "pros" have come across in your many homebrews.

I'll be converting:

Test Enanthate @ 400mg/ml - 20ml
Equipoise @ 400mg/ml - 20ml

Using per Conversion :
3% Ba (.4ml)
15% Bb (2ml)
GrapeSeed Oil (10.8ml)

Just a few off the top of my head......
-Best way to sterilize oil, prior to conversion?
-Approx Shelf-life of powder(s) TestE & Eq?
-Best way to store unused powders?
-How many mls total, can (1) 25mm Whatman filter effectively filter before changing it?

Heat is the best way to sterilize the oil, but there is no need to sterilize it before conversion. Mix all the ingredients into a oven safe measuring cup, mix them up, place in 250 degree oven for 25 min.

Approx shelf life of powders if stored in a dark, dry, cool place is 5 years.

Best way to store powders is in a vacuum sealed pouch. Since this isn't easy to do just use a ziplock back and get as much air out as possible.

Whatman filters are rated to be good up to 100ml's. Do not try to reverse the flow throw the filter in an attempt to clean it, it will rupture the membrane. If your easy on the filter it will continue to filter effectively up to 200mLs (not the case if your making tren).

The most important part of making your own is to buy sterile and presealed vials...do NOT put your homebrew into an unsealed vial then crimp it...your letting all kinds of airborn particles enter the vial.

So buy presealed and inject the filtered gear through the rubber top into the vial, using a second "vent" needle to relieve air pressure.

homebrewing is great!once you do it ...your hooked.cheap and easy.....good luck

Yep, if people only knew the advantages of homebrewing and how easy it was.

I have to disagree with BA and BB being the best way to sterilize gear. BA is an antimicrobial which only prevents the growth of existing bacteria/virus. If a high percentage of BA (over 10%) then yes it can be effective for sterility but will make for a PAINFULL shot.

Heating a liquid past the boiling point of water (212 degrees) will kill every known organism known to man.

Much thanks fellas.
-Especially TigerStyle1, this isn't the first time you've helped me my friend, and I appreciate it.
