Low DHT and weak sex drive

Hi All:

I haven't posted in a couple of weeks. It's nice that when you feel better, you actually start doing stuff!

I have been on Swale's protocol for about 4 months now, but recently had to make some changes to address some chronic problems with dizziness due to possible interactions with some other drugs that I have to take.

Old routine:
100mg Test Cyp once per week
250 iu of HCG twice per week (on the 2 days before the Test Cyp)

New routine: (for the last 3 weeks)
80mg Test Cyp once per week
200 iu of HCG three times per week (on the 3 days before the Test Cyp)

In short, less Test + more HCG. I feel pretty good with this routine and my dizziness problems seem to be resolved (not sure why, but I'll take it).

I've notice that since switching to the new routine, my libido has really taken a nose dive. Current lab results after 2 weeks of new routine:

Total T: 621 (241 - 827)
Free T: 31 (9.5 - 43.0)
Estradiol: 29 (13 - 54)
DHT: 29 (25-75)

My last lab results at 100mg/week Cyp + 500 iu/week of HCG showed a pretty consistent pattern:

Total T: 723 (241 - 827)
Free T: 40 (9.5 - 43.0)
Estradiol: 26 (13 - 54)
DHT: 46 (25 - 75)

Any suggestions? Prior to TRT, I used to wear my wife out. God, I miss that!

This is kind of interesting - as it's similar to me.

I was running 75mg of test / week & my libido was quite good. Then i added hcg to the mix & my libido dropped completely.

Total Test had increased, estrogen still mid range. Unfortunately I don't have the before labs for DHT, but the after labs show a very low DHT.

I'm wondering if exogenous test converts to DHT more ? Or if the increase/addition of HCG causes less to convert to DHT ?

I'm thinking of asking my endo to increase my dose of Test (opposite of what you have done), and see the results of my DHT/libido

Just curious... how are you measuring out the 80mg? One of the hardest things I've found to do is measure 200mg Cyprionate. I am on 100mg per week which equals 1/2cc.

My guess is that I'm probably giving myself closer to 120mg because of the end part of the syringe, and that 20mg or so will be used up when I push the air bubbles out and the small amount that seems to leak out after the injection.

At this point I'm shooting more for consistency than anything else. I would find it hard to do anything other than 100mg though.

Would it help to have a more finely graduated syringe? The ones I have are 1 ml. w/ .01ml graduations. That allows for pretty precise dosing.

I have 1cc syringes, but I always use the BD 3cc stuff because it is a Leur Lock syringe. The 1cc is Leur Slip and with the amount of pressure it takes to push Test Cyp through a 25g needle, I'm afraid of the needle popping off.

I think that as long as you are consistent with what you do, the actual dosage is not super critical. For 100mg, it's 5 ticks up from the bottom of the syringe. For 80mg, it's 4 ticks up. The separation between ticks is small, but I've been careful to get the same amount every time.

Hi Sonny did you feel like this on the day of the test. Hcg drives up E2 and I don't feel good at 35 or higher it could be you have gone higher.
