Low dose tren for 14 weeks - is that too long?

I get where you’re coming from. I’m in a similar situation myself. I wouldn’t write off oxandrolone (Anavar) too quickly—it’s a very mild compound overall, but it consistently shows benefits in strength, training intensity, and progressive overload. It’s not going to add mass the way nandrolone (Deca) or boldenone (EQ) might, but if nutrition and recovery are in order, the performance carryover can still pay dividends.
For context, I’m currently entering week five, running trenbolone at 150 mg per week. I haven’t seen the pronounced vascularity some people report, but I have noticed a clear increase in gym intensity. That said, I also use testosterone suspension (TNE) at 100 mg approximately 45 minutes pre-workout, and that has made a very noticeable difference in drive and intensity during training—arguably more so than the tren alone.
On the tren side, especially as a first exposure, it’s definitely been a bit of a roller coaster. No night sweats for me, but I’ve experienced some insomnia, elevated libido, and increased irritability. All manageable, but very noticeable, and it highlights how important sleep, stress management, and recovery are when using these compounds.
I have like 70 Anavar pills left so I may try it again at a later date once my HDL recovers from the inevitable crash from Tren. I just didn't see anything out of it at all - no strength gains whatsoever, other than a rep here in there which I was already doing before I started.

Gonna run 10mg of Tren Ace a day, so 70mg a week. Any issue running this for 14 weeks of my 20 week cycle (500mg test base and 250mg EQ)?

I can certainly run it less time, and I do plan on getting labs every 6 weeks and adjusting accordingly.
I think that should be fine mate, I run tren e at 200-300mg per week usually from 12-20 weeks depending on how I’m feeling

It's weird i never had night sweats or insomnia on Tren, but i've only ran it once at 150mg a week. For me the sides were aggression, bad sleep quality and hair loss like a motherfucker. On top of that shortness of breath, shit cardio and acid reflux... Tren literally absorbs carbs like a black hole. I was cutting and ended up going hypoglycemic once and thought i was dying lol

Imagine all of this on just 150mg a week. Tren is not for me man.

No insomnia but bad sleep quality. Don't those two things go together? Or were you expecting to stare at the ceiling like meth?

I could fall asleep in 5 minutes and stay asleep, but instead of 8 hours of sleep, my body would wake up after 5-6 hours, which is not optimal. I think it's because of the CNS stimulation not allowing the body to enter deep sleep state, because it's in a heightened state of alertness.

Does anyone have experience with running Tren Ace only at a dose of 140mg/week?

I've done 210mg/week in the past but I'm wondering if I could get most of the benefits with a lower dose

Have you read this and other threads?

Only you will know if you get the same results at a lower dose, no one can tell you. Some people need more than others, some less than others to net the same/similar effects.

Haha, funny you should ask—I’m running 150 mg/week of tren, just about to hit week five, and honestly, I feel like I’m getting my money’s worth. Originally planned six weeks, but I might stretch it a bit. I’m cruising too—250 mg Test C, 400 mg EQ, and 60 mg Deca.

So far, the usual: mild insomnia, libido spikes, and irritability the day after a shot, then it chills out. Gym’s solid—legs get 100 mg of TNE pw 100mg twice a week and performance hasn’t skipped a beat.

Aesthetically? Not a huge change yet—maybe a bit harder, but nothing crazy. I’m bulking, so fair enough. Weight’s steady, maybe half a pound a week on 3,800 calories. Labs in a few weeks to make sure everything’s behaving.

I thought about pushing tren higher, but I’m gonna stay at 150. This is more the vibe I’d run if I kept it long-term—I’m not chasing that shredded, ultra-veiny stage look… not yet anyway.

Basically, tren’s doing its thing—performance first, looks later. Feels good so far.

I hope most of you guys running Tren are in great shape and look like you’re actually on gear. My point is, I looked at a few media posts of some in here and some shouldn’t be taking anything but broccoli and chk.

I stopped milk thistle. It just doesn’t compare to combo of NAC and TUDCA. Not a bad supplement, just ROI is significantly lower
Interesting have you used

Red yeast rice
Physilliam husk

Ive switched back and fourth but haven't noticed a big difference between those tudca, nac... etc..

I'm not the biggest or the leanest dude but for a 46 year old vegan I think I'm doing ok.
