24yo, dealing with gynecomastia since puberty.
Last summer I noticed some hairloss and started taking herbal supplements, saw palmetto and reishi mushroom, to inhibit 5AR enzyme (converts T to DHT).
It's been 5 months now and although my hair doesn't seem to be getting worse the gyno does!!!
At first I thought I was just imagining things. Maybe I was just more aware of my boobs, it was all psychological. Right now, I'm 99% sure, they're not the same prior to the summer. Not only they look more puffy and bigger, I've also had pain more often and intensely than usual, sometimes everyday for a straight week.
Estradiol results just came in: 16 pg/ml
That's actually within the range but still somewhat low to my surprise.
Stopped taking everything and I'm going to start letro+nolvadex soon. Hopefully it's not too late to reserve it back to where it was.
Maybe some of you can enlighten me, why my gyno would worsen even with such low levels of E2?
Reading some stuff and apparently some guys' breast receptors are really sensitive. That would also explain why my puberty gyno never went away, don't you think?
