major weightloss

damn wish i had 1/2 the gym you call the "minigym". sounds like you got pleanty for the next couple weeks. hell speedbag is a great workout on its own.

You ain't going to want to hear about my workout then. I didn't, don't and won't touch a machine...for the most part. I used to do leg ext and leg curls, but those are a thing of the past.

gee thanks i guess. I never really noticed I had alot of equipment...I also have a pro form 765i treadmill, a gazelle, and a gl55 recumbent bike. My parents bought the treadmill, and the bike for each other for christmas so i lucked out. today everyone bought pizza, and wings for the game. and I couldn't even stand the thought of eating it..The only problem I see in my dieting is i like to party and drink..alot. Thats the only reason I think i even need to keep a cheat day now. Last night there was 2 other people drinking from a bottle of 99 banannas (i know it sounds girly, but its 99 proof so it fucks ya up pretty quickly) and we were making frozen bananna mud slides with them and we polished the whole bottle off in 45 minutes. and I could have deffinitly drank more. but we left that party after that. And when we got up my buddys apartment i was busy trying to get laid by this chick who was way out of my league....so I didn't get the chance to drink any more..
Right now my weight training goes as follows.
Monday-chest/arms, then cardio
Wedsday-back/shoulders, then cardio
Friday-cardio then, legs/various lifts
and sat, or sun I repeat one of the 3 each week and switch from week to week. depending how I feel.
its not bad for now, I am noticing a differance having a steady lifting/excersizing schedule

I have this "animal pak" supplement for lifting, its by universal. I bought it a while ago when i wanted to lift and get real big and tough and knew nothing about anything.....like this past fall...and i never really got a chance to experiment with it. Does anyone have any experiance with this product? or know anything about it? Like if i used it for lifting, would it effect my weightloss?

If you're really serious about dropping the weight, I hate to be the one to rain on the parade, but the drinking has, absolutely HAS, to go.

Yea the alchol was why i gained most of the weight I have gained in the time discussed. this past summer I don't recall a day I wasn't drinking out of control. I cut back to 1 night a week now, is it harmful to drink just one day a week? In past parties it woulnd't have been uncommon to see me polish off a 1/5th by myself, or drink 16-22 beers. Obviously once I hit the bottom of the bottle, or the end of a 24 pack..i couldn't really do anything because i was entirely to shit faced. but it happened often.

bananna booze is kinda girly....im more of a bacardi 151 kinda guy. it gets the job done the quickest....

Does anyone know how many calories the average person uses a day not excercizing just going about normal life? I can deduct whatever calories i burn off the 'average persons' when i find out what the average persons is.

I'm really glad I subscribed to this forum. You guys are all awsome, and have alot of interesting stories, etc. I enjoy coming on here at night and reading various threads.

You can drink once/week but it will obviously hinder your gains. You could still get good results though. as for the average calories burned per day that is highly variable. Some people require more calories than others just for maintenance. Slow metabolism example would be a person who weighs 200 lbs needing 1600 calories for maintenance. This is their bodyweight times .8. Another 200 pounder could need 1.2x200 =2400 calories just for maint. These are just examples to help you determine where you sit and to get in the ball park. Your met. is probably pretty slow so take it from there

Thick is right on. On the up side, as you gain more muscle and simply keep the activity levels up, your metabolism will increase.

If it will help you stop drinking, at least for the time being, think of this. Alcohol has many, many negative effects on a dieting individual. First, it slows down your metabolism. Secondly, alcholol calories must be burned before you body will burn anything else. So, on a 22 beer night, your body must burn ~2300 calories before it'll touch anything else. Also, through some odd property of alcohol, it predisposes the body to storing fat in the belly, hence the beer gut phenomenon.

If you must get fucked up(we all love it) I'd advise you to try a few different methods. Learn how to love smoking pot whilst keeping your munchies in check, use GHB or check the classifieds for some good pills. They're all good, calorie free methods of getting fucke dup. If you ask me, you can't go wrong with acid, but it's awfully scarce these days.

hogg posted a great article on alcohol's effects on the beloved old meso. don't know if he still has it. there are numerous bad sides including testosterone suppression and cortisol stim. I however won't suggest other ways to get "high". How about throwing eggs on the next piece of shit trooper you see while you are riding your crotch rocket. than, as you are going 150 around curves leaving that cocksucker behind to get hit by a train, you will get the high of your life. nothing like a fast motorcycle ride to get u pumped and it actually speeds up your metabolism. win win situation

I'd listen to Grizzley, the way I think about it when I diet is if I have a drink, or want to eat a cookie or something to that effect, that drink is one less amount of fat that is going to come off your body, and after months that adds up and hard work is wasted. As far as beer gut goes storage of belly fat is genetic predisposition not alcohol, just a myth.

I'm pretty sure your wrong about that dolfe. I'm not sure where I read that, I belive it was Flex, but according to the scientific literature, alcohol predisposes an individual to gut storage of fat. Look at a college girl. They're supposed to store their fat in their hips and thighs, but because of all the drinking, those silly bitches have skinny legs and big guts.

chics with beer bellies. ha ha nasty college for you huh. kinda like davenport. some nasty's up there. kentucky had hot chics. just a little stupid

It is possible to get a bigger belly, anyone would get a bigger belly drinking a case a night, whether it be water or beer, that much fluid your strething out your stomache, your just not going to get anymore actual fat in the belly due to alcohol.

i don't know who is correct. seems like i did read a study about beer calories for some reason being more predisposed to storage over the abs. not sure if they could explain why or not edit: but these girls grizz is talking about don't have stretched out stomachs. they have actual guts/love handles that hang over their pants and gradually fade into a huge fupa that he must lift in order to get to his rancid prize. That is why he is so strong. Have you ever tried holding up a 50 lb fupa? after years of this it has made grizz a stout man. kinda like my buddy in college. he bunked in the top bed in a dorm and got really strong pushing fat chics up his ladder.

Here's something to consider about this beer gut theory, the name beer gut comes from people who drink beer, wouldn't it make sense that people who drank hard liquer,in general, would have larger bellys because hard liquer contains more alcohol, the suposed cause of fat storage in the belly.

I know what you are saying but an one ounce of oh is an ounce wether in beer or vodka form. i don't even know if i read the study i am thinking of. my mind may be playing tricks but i thought i have read some type of study that correlates abdominal adipose and beer consumption. i don't know. hopefully grizz will find it. this argument is b/n you two lol. i am just an innocent bystander that has seen chics with beer bellies
