Alright guys
Just wondering what you guys think in terms of whether masturbation is healthy or not if in a relationship?
I know it will kind of depend of the individual an sex drive but I would think that given masturbation to porn lets say desensitises the brain and also with masturbation being more vigorous than normal sex you end up reaching orgasm much quicker. I've read this can cause the feedback loop in the brain to produce softer erections quicker i.e. higher incidence of ED. and the more often this is done the more pronounced this effect will be.
On the other hand if you get a strong erection you kind of don't want it to go to waste. Maybe getting a strong erection without any 'hand intervention' is the bodies way of saying 'all is good to go' lol
Also after orgasm - according to many sources on the internet - the bodies refractory period means testosterone/sexual desire peaks around 5-7 days with no added benefit thereafter. Maybe this means sticking to this kind of cycle gives guys a better chance of strong erections - not sure just a thought. For those with low T I guess any effect on testosterone will be negligible at best but at least the sexual desire should be noticeably better (possibly).
I'm sure for most guys if you take yourself away from sexual stimuli altogether (avoid porn etc in particular) it can't have a negative effect on erections and for most have some benefit - like if in a relationship you would be more responsive to your partner.
