@CeymoreButtz Blood Collection/ Infusion Set with Female Luer, 19G x ¾", 12 ft Tubing ordered per your request, too. Also will be available for anyone else whom wants them.
Hey My Friend,
Is there a way to acquire these in 18g or possibly 16g. It takes a good 20 minutes to drain a pint of blood out with a 19.. 18g usually gets you around 15mins.

Thank You!!

I searched the database and the major brands didn't have anything near that size that I saw. All of the BD options were 23g +

Hmm,
Ok well we will have to try that and maybe I will have to do some digging on the name of the company I get the individual ones. Where do we purchase these 19g ones you have, on your website yet?

Ill make an announcement here once they arrive. They'll land on our next freight shipment. I'd say Friday or Monday since today was a soft-holiday. If you find any brand specific items PM me a URL and ill dig and get my hands on them. That goes for anything ANYONE would like to specifically request.

I do know the brand I was getting the 18g was B Braun (bbraunusa.com). The key is having the needle connect to the tubing via a threading mechanism so blood isn't flying everywhere, lol

Fucking hard core man.
Been doing this a long time, but I don't advocate this for beginners or those who have not researched this thoroughly. However when done properly and safely it can be one of the healthiest things you can do for yourself. I just don't like donating when I'm on a Tren cycle or haven't been off GH for a year, so this allows me the clean conscience and the health benefits..

Just curious as this interests me... how do you deal with any risks of fainting? Is this something that you consider?

Actually fainting is the main risk. When I use lower gauge needles(16), I clamp for 5 mins during the procedure. I also hydrate significantly beforehand and typically do it right after a meal. The whole process takes about 15-20 mins with an 18g, but the lower gauge needles (16g) will cause the blood to come out faster, therefore it is necessary to clamp. I have never fainted (knock on wood).

Have you tried going to a hematologist? @BigPaul gave this suggestion.

I am getting myself an appointment and they just drain my blood to get my hemocrit back to normal.

Believe big Paul went once per week to get his down to normal.

I'll get my first experience once my new insurance kicks in. Actually just waiting for my cards to show up.

I have not gone to a hematologist, but I do monitor my labs every 6-8 weeks on my own. Sometimes even closer if things are off.

I went and donated blood off cycle several times years ago, and watched very carefully what they did. Every time I went I realized how easy it was and definitely something I could do myself at a low cost. Now I have it down to a science, so no hematologist needed for me. A great suggestion for those not willing to draw their own.

The most difficult part is finding the proper needles, tubing, etc... A 16oz water bottle becomes your drainage reservoir. Some of us have used O2 tubing connected to a needle to get the job done.. Like an oil change, just no oil back in..
