Melly Mel's Log From Hell

Week 1, Day 5 Tuesday am, 8-4-15

Legs: Very nervous going into my first leg day. Because of my back I haven't really squatted or done leg presses in years. Just like the deadlift's, going super light at first to get a feel for where my back is at. I'm being very cautious because I don't want a back tweek to ruin my cycle.

Squats: I've always gone ass to the grass.
2 sets of BW squats to warm up
135 x 10
135 x 10
135 x 10
135 x 10
So far so good

Leg Press
6 plates x 8, x8, x8
started feeling it in my lower back. Done

Leg Extensions
100 x 10
100 x 10
100 x 10
100 x 10

Leg Curls
70 x 10
70 x 10
70 x 10
70 x 10

Okay, that's enough. Back feels good. We'll see how it is tomorrow morning.
I would wear a belt, to be safe.

Keep doing what your doing. Just push a little bit more each time. LISTEN to your body. Ego won't win that battle. I'm sure your experienced enough to know that. Just took me a few times to get it through my thick skull lol

Good work brother

Funny you said that. I bought a belt right before I started this cycle. Havent worn one in years. Wore it today though.

It's my ego that got my back and shoulders in this condition in the first place. I'm wiser now. Thanks for the advise. I need someone to remind me of that from time to time so you can beat that horse as much as you like.
(Disclaimer: I in no way condone beating horses and any horses beaten in the making of this thread are perverbial only.)

I've never used one, but I think I want to try it. Anytime I squat over 315 for reps I get an insane back pump, Dbol-esque.

I know it took my wife reminding me every time I walked out the door plus getting jacked up a few times throughout my recovery before I learned. Now when I feel that certain tension or that first pinch I call it quits and move on.

There ya go. We gotta remember we're in this for the long haul and you can't go to the gym when you're laid up. You gotta know when to walk away today so you can go to war tomorrow.

Back from the gym. Decided to do a 10 x 10 of Peak Contraction Zone .

Did 10 minutes of Abs.

I've really been eating a ton of food.
A couple dietary changes:
12 pickled eggs a day since Sunday.
Switching from a gallon of 1% milk to 2%.
Going to 4 scoops of Whey Isolate from 2 scoops.

I will do a complete food list for tomorrow, which will be Week 2, Day 1, along with my first weigh in. Big day tomorrow.

I did not see cheese on your list or anyone elses? I eat tons of cheese. Is this a bad thing and can that be why I carry visceral fat?
I love cheese. I'm a big fan of dairy as a whole. I definately eat cheese. I make a sandwich that is a cross between a toasted cheese sandwich and a BLT plus extra's. The next time I make them I'll post pic's and the recipe. Love homemade mac and cheese. Blue cheese is a favorite. I eat ricotta cheese with honey or I mix strawberry preserves in with it. Cottage cheese with fruit. Now I want cheese.

Visceral fat mostly comes from grain based carbohydrates that are not utilized. These carbohydrates are mostly gluten carbohydrates and are almost always from biologically engineered wheat. The United States is the most obese country on the planet. Of course we're not the only country to eat gluten grains but we by far eat the most processed food and what do you suppose is added to the vast majority of the processed food we eat...wheat starch. It creates the perfect blood sugar spike to peak our appetite when we start eating which creates our desire to eat more which then becomes more than we utilize and then becomes stored as visceral fat. 80% of the American diet contains gluten. Visceral fat specifically is linked to Heart disease and cancer. I'm not saying we should stop eating gluten and I'm not opposed to those that do but the real poison is processed food.

Amen brother , gluten carbs and sugars causes heart disease , not good fats . My main doctor told me this and hes also a cardiologist . He said continue on a high protein/low carb diet , just cut more calories

Week 2, Day 1 Wed. am, 8-5-15

Weighed in at 192 lbs. so I'm up 2 lbs. I expected a couple more based on how I look. Muscles look fuller. I have a little more definition so I must have lost some BF. Definately harder.

My sides are that I'm sweating like crazy and I have a little indigestion, which could be caused by my caloric increase and all the dairy. My fuse is a little short. No other sides present.

My shoulders were hurting right out of the gate so my weights suffered a bit.

Heavy sweats and indigestion at week 2 ? Could the tren sides be kicking in this early ? Sounds like it , my strength increase came way before both those sides which kicked in at week 3 for me . Weights should be getting lighter any day now ....Enjoy .

Im only about 150 miles from the Tillamook Cheese Factory , I LOVE the stuff . Special Reserve white cheddar is off the charts , I eat one to two ounces of it to fight off hunger at night . Got to be careful , high calories . But so filling ...

I'm wondering if some of the sides are kicking in early because of the base mix I'm running prior to my workout which would equate to an extra 25mg a day of Tren which is immediate release. Also I started at 75mg ed of Tren A from day 1 and I believe you started at 50mg.
