Melly Mel's Log From Hell

I'm really getting my food intake dialed in. The longer I'm eating high volume the easier it's getting. The gallon of milk a day is not an issue. I take it down with no effort. The dozen hard boiled eggs are just snacks between meals. Great on the fly. Did my shake this morning with 4 raw eggs instead of the whey powder. Much much better. I can feel my body weight increasing. I don't want to weigh myself too often. Just on day 1 of every week. Next weigh in is Wednesday morning and I'm sure I packed some on.

Well everyone...Since my chest workout yesterday morning I've been swallowing anti-inflamatories and Icing my shoulders when I can. They're feeling quite a bit better so...

Tomorrow morning is back day. I think I'm gonna bump my weights up and stay in the 6-8 rep range. I'm in the mood to move some weight around.
Easy on the NSAIDs. They impede your natural healing process and are horrible for your blood and your digestive system.

Eating eggs raw has far less bioavailable protein. Cooking them gives them 30+% more available protein. Hard boiled baby.
Thanks for that bro, I think im going to start chugging them as well. Saves sooooo much time cooking an cleaning when I can just slam them bitches back an swallow lol. As you can see above I have been studying....like I always do an drinking them is looking safer an safer. Fuck it, im going to start drinking them an see what happens!!! Again thanks for your input an advice, I appreciate it brotha;)

I been doing it on and off for 6 years and iv never got sick from it man, I know a few guys that have been doing it a lot longer and as I know of they haven't either. I know people freak out about it but with me it hasn't hurt me yet lol, I'll probably get sick tomorrow "I'm knocking on wood right now hahaha". I think if your trying to build mass you have to eat foods that will build you up, I know a lot of people want a lean bulk hell I was one of them but I realized it don't work for me. I have to eat what some would call junk food or dirty food to put on size. Last night at 1 in the morning I was making a double burger sweat potato and pinto beans lol, I know a lot of people will say over time I won't be so lucky or whatever but I don't look at it as being lucky I think it's sucks because I want to be a beast. It sucks having to eat around the clock just to stay the size I am, even after eating that I woke up at 4 in the morning like I had went all day without eating. I'm rambling hahaha but I haven't got sick yet from raw eggs... Yet lol.

I'm going to try both the pasteurized egg whites and raw eggs and the one that tastes better wins. I'm also going to try vanilla extract for flavor.

With the raw egg thing...when you cook animal protein you destroy some of the protein so It's best to eat it raw or rare if possible. Of course that's a no go with chicken, pork, and some seafood but the ones you can eat rare or raw you should. So a pound of cooked beef has less usable protein than raw. I love sushi and blue or tartar beef.
Incorrect with eggs.

My kid feeds raw chicken, bones and all, to his dog. He says it will not make him sick. I will not chance it with mine. I wish I could eat chicken raw. It would make it easier during the day to run into a supermarket and get a package of chicken and sit in my truck eating it.
Raw supermarket meat is terrible for dogs. You need to buy specialty raw food for dogs... no hormones and no grain fed is mandatory... they can get used to anything but it doesn't mean it's good.

For me it's the fact I can't stand eggs and if I don't drink them like that 9 times out of 10 I won't eat them. I can't stand the smell the texture so it's really hard for me to eat them, don't get me wrong I do eat them but I usually have to make a sandwich or something like that so they don't stand out as bad.

Duely noted brutus an thanks for that. Looks like i will be hard boiling them fron now on. Ill be popin those bithces like ju ju bees;)

Interesting...different than other animal protein. Glad you told me. I'm getting in a dozen hard boiled a day like you said. Do you know if the vinegar when you pickle them does anything to the protein?

I felt as if shit was all dialed in today. My food intake was on point. the gear is definately kicking in. I felt kick ass during my workout.

Digestibility of cooked and raw egg protein in humans as assessed by stable isotope techniques.

Author information

Abstract

Egg proteins contribute substantially to the daily nitrogen allowances in Western countries and are generally considered to be highly digestible. However, information is lacking on the true ileal digestibility of either raw or cooked egg protein. The recent availability of stable isotope-labeled egg protein allowed determination of the true ileal digestibility of egg protein by means of noninvasive tracer techniques. Five ileostomy patients were studied, once after ingestion of a test meal consisting of 25 g of cooked 13C- and 15N-labeled egg protein, and once after ingestion of the same test meal in raw form. Ileal effluents and breath samples were collected at regular intervals after consumption of the test meal and analyzed for 15N- and 13C-content, respectively. The true ileal digestibility of cooked and raw egg protein amounted to 90.9 +/- 0.8 and 51.3 +/- 9.8%, respectively. A significant negative correlation (r = -0.92, P < 0.001) was found between the 13C-recovery in breath and the recovery of exogenous N in the ileal effluents. In summary, using the 15N-dilution technique we demonstrated that the assimilation of cooked egg protein is efficient, albeit incomplete, and that the true ileal digestibility of egg protein is significantly enhanced by heat-pretreatment. A simple 13C-breath test technique furthermore proved to be a suitable alternative for the evaluation of the true ileal digestibility of egg protein.

Jesus. How did you access that so fast?

I'm at 4500 - 5000 but it's easier than it was. I have no doubt I will up that. I'm a horrible sleeper. I wake up 2 - 4 times a night and now I'm starting to drink milk and snack when I do.
Give me 5500 (clean) every day this week and you will gain 5lbs. Test it. I sleep shitty and eat all night too. Secret weapon.

Prilosec for heartburn daily. Proton pump inhibitors = what's heartburn?
