Melly Mel's Log From Hell

got to leave your ego at the door. speedy recovery.
When you're coming back from an injury, ego is your worst enemy. I have however learned that when I feel something tweek, working through it is the worst thing I can do. Ultimately if I keep pushing I'll end up recovering for weeks. If I call it a day and give it a,day or two I can get right back to it. I'd rather loose two days than two weeks. In this case it wasn't really ego. It didn't feel that way. I just thought it was the next natural progression. The prior week I pulled 155 with no pain what so ever. The strength isn't the issue at these weights, it's the injury. I didn't feel 30 lbs. at that level was a big deal. Guess what...

I'm sure the weight was light, but you have to work around your injuries. that is were the ego and the weight collided.

How is training going Melly mel? Hope all is good

Thanks for asking. Yes, training is going very well. I haven't posted the last week because I have been slammed at work. My primary job has been very busy and my second job which is related to my primary job has required me to do a lot of paperwork this last week and for a few weeks to come to prepare for an advisory council meeting in October in which I am a part. It also requires a bit of travel and lesson plan outlining related to that as well. I'm still on track with my diet and training, I just haven't felt like doing any additional typing lately, lol. I'm all caught up so I'll be logging again starting tomorrow. I appreciate you checking in.

Called in sick today. I was up all night throwing up and dry heaving. Went to bed last night after my log entry and was awakened around 2:00 and ran to the bathroom to throw up. It's finally subsided but I feel like hell. I'll be on the couch all day. I think it was the Chinese food for dinner. Now I'm getting violent hiccups on and off and it's driving me fucking crazy. All I want to do is sleep but I can't stop hiccuping!!!!!

That's some crazy shit man. Get some rest and hope you start feeling better

The only thing I've eaten today is crackers and Powerade. When I stand up I get nauseated and dizzy so i can't get off the couch. I don't think its food poisoning because I don't have any bowel issues. Just stomach, acid reflux. I've now taken two Pepsid but they're only offering moderate relief. I keep hiccuping and burping acid into my throat. The dizzyness sucks. I have no idea what's going on.

Could be the tren :(...had me breathing fire every day for weeks.

You may want to try something stronger than Pepsid if its acid reflux/heartburn. @Wunderpus said digestive enzymes helps him with it. Generic Zantac worked for me...had to take a few...gonna try enzymes next time, idk they sound safer to me. Just sharing my experience...hope it works out for ya.

the NOW brand digestive enzymes have helped me a lot. That and Metamucil with coffee keeps things running when on tren. it's a struggle, though.

I drank a shake per @brutus79 's advice and that has seemed to settle things down. Definately not as dizzy. From lack of calories today I may have been a bit hypoglycemic on top of everything else.
Going hypo and dehydration are risks when you get sick off cycle... running something like tren makes it ten times worse. Try and get some more in and make sure you are drinking tons of water. This ain't a gains thing- it's a health risk thing brother.

The dizziness and nausea has stopped. I ate some rice and have been drinking lots of water. Feeling much better. The acid reflux is much better but not totally gone. I can't get rid of these fucking hiccups. I've been hiccuping on and off all day. It's driving me fucking crazy. I should be recovered by morning. I have an iron stomach so this was very strange. I wish I knew what the hell was going on.
