Melly Mel's Log From Hell

The dizziness and nausea has stopped. I ate some rice and have been drinking lots of water. Feeling much better. The acid reflux is much better but not totally gone. I can't get rid of these fucking hiccups. I've been hiccuping on and off all day. It's driving me fucking crazy. I should be recovered by morning. I have an iron stomach so this was very strange. I wish I knew what the hell was going on.
I take Prilosec daily and when I run tren I need to double my dose. I wouldn't pin tren again till it clears, then reintroduce and you will have your answer. This is my expert medical advice.
 
I was up to 198 lbs and I know when I get on the scale tomorrow I'm going to be pissed. I hope a couple days of eating like I have been these last three weeks puts the weight back on quickly. Maybe I didn't loose too much. I feel like I did though. I feel very flat.

Don't worry a bit. Getting back to an old weight is the easiest thing in the world- it's those new pounds you have to break your back for.

You know when I read your post saying you think it might have been food poisoning from the Chinese, I was actually eating fucking general chicken from a Chinese restaurant here in town at that very damn moment. As I was reading your post I had a mouth full lol an was like....thats really fuckin nice smh:confused:. Im so damn dumb that I just keep right on shoving it down lol:rolleyes:. Mmm grneral chicken an fried rice is the shit:D....that can also give you the shits:p
 
I felt great today except for the occasional acid in the throat. Usually Wednesday morning is day 1 for me but I worked 11 hour days on Wednesday and Thursday and I was ill yesterday so today after work was day 1. I'm glad I took the time off because I came back strong today. I set a PR on bench. I got 285x1 on smith decline barbell bench and I know I could have got 295 but I didn't want to stress my shoulders too much. Playin it safe but I'm definately goin for 295 next chest day and probably 305 the week after that. At this point I'll only go for PR's on decline because my shoulders feel best in that position. If I get 305 I'm going to see what my 1RM is on regular flat bench, with a spotter of course.
I weighed in at 197.5. Very very happy about that. Thought after being sick and not really eating yesterday I would have lost weight. I unofficially weighed in on Tuesday at 208 but I didn't log it so it doesn't count. So according to this log my last weigh in was 196.5 which means I'm up another pound. Started at 190 so at 3 weeks and 3 days I'm up 7.5 lbs. I'll hit 200 by next Saturday. My wife said when I hit 200 she's throwing me a party because It's all I've talked about for the last few years. Knowing her she may actually do it. My wife is truly a gem. She thinks I'm eye candy no matter what I weigh so she could care less if I hit 200 or not but she knows it's important to me so she's very supportive.
I left my gym journal in the car so I'll log today's workout tomorrow morning.
The wife and I are going on a canoe trip on the Youghiogheny river tomorrow.
I'll put some pics up of our trip. We're always hiking, rail trail biking, fishing, or doing something in the woods on the weekends. I should post more pics.
 
Good to see your feeling better and congrats on the PR, at only 3 weeks in I'm sure there are many more PR's to come.
Having a good woman by your side is priceless, I'm in the same shoes as you there. My wife is my biggest supporter and has backed me in this lifestyle for many years. You and i are a couple of lucky guys.

285 x 1 (PR) I had more in me but with my shoulders issues I played it safe. This is how they were injured originally. I was having a strong day and decided to up my bench too much too quick. Muscles handled the weight...connective tissue, not so much...rrrrrrrrrrrip!!!
Going for 295 next chest day and hopefully 305 the week after. I'm tellin ya, 285 went up pretty easy. Decline is best for me from a pain stand point with heavier weight because of shoulder position. If I get 305 decline I'm going to start flat benching heavier, within safe limits.
Anyway, I was really happy to be able to push 285 and without any pain.

Everything from this point forward had 60sec. rest between sets.

Did some canoeing on the Youghiogheny River in Western PA with my wife and her two kids yesterday. Beautiful day. Couldn't have been better. There is a rail trail that follows the river that I rode last year. It goes from North of Pittsburgh all the way to D.C. 334 miles. I did a 40 mile section last year. Awesome. As we paddled down the river I watched the bikers riding the trail. I think I'm going to do it again In Sept. or Oct. if I can allocate the time.
We paddled 7 miles in about 2hrs 45min. We're going to do it just the two of us next time and bring the fishing gear.
