Well yeah, but the difference is i would keep my cool. Thats the problem,being president is a pretty high stress job, gotta be able to keep a level head.

He says he's going to rebuild our infrastructure, tax imported goods at a higher rate than before, punish companies that keep their money offshore so They don't have to pay taxes. These are all things I can get behind. let's see if he sticks to any of it. I know he won't but I want to hope that he will. they're all full of shit

Best of luck to him. I feel we'll all learn the hard way of what a Trump presidency is capable of. I'm hopeful he can accomplish something... I don't think anyone should get their hopes up too high though.
When push comes to shove, would you want the Russians, Chinese, Koreans, etc having to figure out for themselves whether he's joking or not and act accordingly?
He's the safe choice bc he's shown he can control his words and actions when something goes against his wishes plenty of times right?

He's not my blood but I am raising my gf's son alongside her. I've never threatened a child with something more than I'm willing to act on. It's also vastly different when you're a parent disciplining a child vs a president threatening other nations who already don't hold you in high esteem and some view you as a threat.
I'm sure he believes that himself despite the enormous debts on his balance sheet. Thank goodness "he knows how to solve our nation's debt problem" though... If it's anything like his business practices, he'll just ignore it.

Have you seen the kind of sabre-rattling that the west has been doing to those aforementioned countries, particularly Russia, these past few years? It's only been getting worse after all.
Trumps rhetoric completely pales in comparison to something like NATO running drills in countries bordering Russia or other purposefully inflammatory bullshit as a desperate attempt to create pretexts to the point their own member countries are calling them out for war-mongering.
They may not be joking about using nukes but I assure you they are playing a much more dangerous game than Trump running his mouth would ever present for the world.
I highly doubt Trumps rhetoric even slightly phases these countries to begin with. Compound this with the fact that he has stated before he isn't keen on these alliances the way they currently are, I would argue the aforementioned countries would probably be less hostile to America with Trump. Even China, but that's just my guess. Time will tell.

I dont know that its a bad idea necessarily for them. Although it does seem silly to seperate from your group, power in numbers and all that.
In the business world you have to remain competitive. that's where import taxes come in. if he enacts them he can manufacture more products stateside and remain competitive and create jobs. I don't understand why people keep calling him hypocritical for this when it is the most basic economic lesson out there. you can't create jobs in America if the manufacturing cost is more than another companies selling price.
They left the European Union not the un. They basically separated their economy from the rest of Europe.
