No problem brother! And my apology @kain. Should have listed you first. NONE of this would have been possible without you. Sorry Brother. BIG goof.
Kain sell me rnNo problem brother!
Well that’s probably why
I think 600 is and then cruising on 300What do you think? Is 300 mg of Tren E a week too much?
I need some feedback about testing for the presence of polystyrene in US DOM vendor's oils.
Most bottletop filters are made out of / contain polystyrene one form or another. Polystyrene does not work well with neither MCT, BB or BA. It causes leeching etc.

If you search around the forum, you can see people commenting about bottletop systems leeching/cracking etc. This is just one post, there's quite a few.
Yeah I understood what you were pointing out that's why I said replacing the receiver flask with a glass one is the best option. The holding/filtering flask can't be replaced but one can minimize contact by adding slowly and not all at once. But as @nightprowler7 pointed out after a certain amount of bb it leaches. An...Think you’ve misunderstood what I was referring to mate - I should have been clearer. I was referring to the bottletop reservoir that holds the liquid before filtering & the housing around the actual filter material itself being almost always being polystyrene. With high bb, over 25% I had leeching. Yes. With a 22% brew, no leechingThe absolute vast majority of sterile Nylon / PVDF / PTFE bottletops I’ve seen have polystyrene filter housings / funnels, with polystyrene usually being listed as incompatible with BB.
Have any of you guys ever personally experienced problems from BB with such housings / funnels?
Jano seems to be able to test for it ($170 a sample) and i reckon we should test using higher concentration gear as the leeching occurs faster during such cases.
Is there any point in going ahead with this testing?
(1) Is the assumption that US DOM vendors use a better filtration setup?
(2) Nobody has been harmed from this that we know off, gear still works?
Good to go? Nothing to test?
Anything else i missed?
It would be good if we can have some brewers chime in, especially those who use bottletop setups.

Do you have a positive control to ensure Jano can detect styrene? Positive and negative controls are critical for this type of work. Sorry if I missed it. Catching up.I am planning to send the following in for testing, still open to any feedback. Off this list, one is confirmed to be using a polystyrene bottle top filter setup. As to what bottle-tops others use, I don't know, but the vast majority out there are polystyrene.

Blind that sample and have also include negative control. My 2 cents.I will dissolve a bottletop filter in ba/bb and send that in.
I’m interested in your polystyrene tests and willing to contribute if you are going to crowd source it. There’s a lot of enhanced testing haters out there, but this is the kind of stuff most people are clueless about until someone such as yourself brings it up.
I agree on the testing and I’m still new to all this, so my risk tolerance is currently to test everything. I don’t need any unknown hormones while I’m figuring out how I react to everything. I’ve been trying to order more than I need so I don’t have to keep retesting, so fingers crossed they aren’t mixing batches in a single...

That'd work! Send clean BA and BA with dissolved polystyrene along with your next samples, label "For Peter" and we'll see what we can do.How would we confirm it?
I can send a sample with BA+STYRENE and you could use that to check if it's present in the other samples I want to test?
BA I believe, currently doesn't show up in gcms, which leaves us with styrene.
Ok great. Essential first step! Well done. The issue is that he's not 100% sure if he can even detect it or not..he needs that sample to see if polystyrene will even show up in gcms.
He is a member. Look but don't try to touch. Same as the floor of the Gentlemen's Club.@kain take orders. Thank you.
I missed this post before. I will commit $500.** Starting a thread after there was some interest from initial post, and we have been kicking this idea around for a bit. **
What do you say we all start a special projects MESO fund for testing? Idea is to push the envelope beyond standard tests done today to help answer outstanding questions like bioactivity of UG GH.
For any GH "special" testing, I pitch we do it as a group to help build community here at MESO. I will commit $500 (and some product as part of the testing if we do head to head comparisons). Thoughts?
My concern at this point is Jano's bandwidth and people sending in product separately (pharma vs "generic"). Hence, logistically it may make sense for one person to send samples. Anyway, I'll support whatever the team thinks has best chance for credibility and success.
We also probably need trusted members to be trustees for the fund. Perhaps quorum (2 out of 3 trustees) decision to approve funds for a test? People can also pitch ideas to the decision team, etc.
Thanks for checking this out and look forward to what we come up with.
