I have difficulty finding ora-plus or equivalent compounding syrup vehicle. I looked at the literature (e.g. http://m.ejhp.bmj.com/content/19/5/432.abstract) and realised that Methocel 1% is used often as vehicle for oral suspensions.
Methocel is cheap and widely available as it being used by molecular cooking.
I have not experimented yet but I plan on playing with it soon.
Theoretical example for approx 50mg/ml (40ml in total) of anavar liquid suspension.
I have not tested the following(yet).
13.36 (14) ml hot water (70c) - This should be 1/3 of the desired amount
0.4g methocel powder (1% of the total - 40ml - 1g of water = 1ml)
Mix well
Then add 26.72 (27)ml (cold water) mix to create the vehicle - This should be 2/3 of the desired total amount
Fridge for 3-4 hours
Add 2g anavar powder
Mix
This creates around 50mg/ml (not taking into account the displacement from the powders)
Alternative would be to mix the methocel powder with alcohol (more info here http://www.hwbooks.com/drugformulation5ed/intro.pdf)
2ml alcohol (5% of the total volume)
0.4g methocel powder (1% of the total volume)
mix well
pour into 38 ml water while stirring fast
add anavar powder (2g in our case)
stir fast
and you have around 50mg/ml anavar (not taking into account powder displacements)
What do you think?
