Michael Moore and the real truth about steroids

I think Michael Moore should do a story over how the media hypes up steroids. For those who dont know who this is, it is the guy who made a documentery about the columbine shooting and his new film is coming out june 25th and is called farenheit 911.

I think Dorian Yates, Lee Haney, and Tom Platz should team up to make a documentary using their old footage--- or at least some guys that are out of the limelight and can't be busted post-use.

We need some guys that still have a body and have already a lot of respect in the bodybuilding community.

Amen. Considering that Moore doesnt even tell the truth in his regular movies, what makes you think he would in a documentary about AAS?

His movies are full of half thruths, lies, and rhetoric. I havent seen one yet that was really factual and told an honest story. His movies are as honest as the Fox News show tonight about AAS.

Very true.. Michael Moore is a huge liar...

For example.. in Bowling for columbine... In it he finds a bank that will give a Brand New 12 gauge Shotgun for opening a checking account.. In the footage.. he makes it look like all he did was walk into the bank.. sign his name and get a free shotgun..no questions asked... The footage even shows him standing in front of the bank with the shotgun raised over his head... Ok.. the reality.. He signed up for a checking account.. He was given a coupon to take to a local Gun Dealer.. The gun dealer Performed an ATF back ground investigation on him (which you must pass in order to obtain a firearm).. He passed (obviously) but it took two weeks for him to recieve the gun.. ...in the video it shows him asking a teller about a gun...Next scene... him signing his name..next scene.. standing in front of the bank with the shotgun raised... Total B.S.!!!!!

Another example.. After the Columbine shooting the N.R.A. did have a rally in Columbine...In the movie.. He states this...next scene Shows the highschool and all the mourners..next scene... he shows the NRA Rally with everyone cheering and yelling and arguing their rights for guns... Ok the truth... The NRA held a very quiet and somber Meeting but did not march or yell or carry signs.... The footage Michael moore showed was actually from a Rally in Alabama from a year earlier, when A state ordience banning certain firearms were passed...

He paints half truths..and uses lies to spread his message..IMO he's a hypocrite..guilty of everything he accuses others of..


Wherever there is misery and misfortune..Michael Moore will be there to exploit it and make some money off of it....

I'd have to agree that Moore's filmmaking is moving at times (I did agree with his theories about how the media increases public fear with constant overhype), but a little research (like the stuff Phreezer pointed out) generally shows him to use more 1/2 truths than Al Jazeera.

I do think someone should make a documentary on Juice and how it can be used responsibly and how it has been villified by the media for years. Just don't think Michael Moore is the man for the job.
