Mig840 as a Solvent

So, I finally had the opportunity to do a test brew of the following:

Test cyp 200 mg/ml
2% BA
20% Mig840
q.s. GSO

I made a total of 30ml, using a magnetic stirrer (440 rpm) and a hot plate, originally set at 40C, 50C and finally 60C to fully dissolve the powder.

Once it appeared to be dissolved, I left it on the stirrer for about an hour to fully ensure it was.

I filtered it into 3 vials and decided against my usual 2 hours of terminal dry heat sterilization, since most people do not take that extra step.

One vial will remain at room temperature, one went into a refrigerator and the third one will be left in a cold room. I want to see if any/all will crash and how badly.

I will be injecting this tomorrow and will update the crash status of each.

Each vial did as expected. The one in the refrigerator became a cloudy “gel” due to the GSO. The one left in a 62 F room, did not gel but had a slightly higher viscosity and was somewhat cloudy. The one in the cold garage, about 40 F, was somewhere between the other two.

A couple of minutes on a coffee cup warmer and they all were ready to inject.

In my opinion, you can definitely substitute mig840 for BB with test C at 200mg/ml. YMMV

Cool experiments.

I put some Mig into 2ml vials because I had a guy complain of pip. He was pinning my 200/50/200 T. enanthate/T. prop/ Deca product in Mig.
I found it smooth. He got massive knots.
He pinned the pure Mig and got same pip.
That’s when I learned Mig doesn’t agree with some people. Like EO, I guess?
I make my Sust 250 with 40% EO for myself because regular sust kills me, likely because I can’t tolerate T. propionate.
Good to know I can brew with just Mig now. EO has gotten expensive.

That blend I mentioned above is smooth for me. I should have know that Mig works for me. Just not everyone.

I have left the three vials in a cold , but above 60 F, room for about a week and noticed something interesting.

The vial which had been immediately placed in a refrigerator returned to a strong gel consistency. The one which was never left in the cold remained uncrashed. The one which was left in a cold garage returned to a somewhat gel state.

It seems that where they were kept for 24hours after brewing has caused “muscle memory” and will take them back to their prior state even after heating them again.

Since I am always brewing extra vials, which I will never be able to use in my lifetime, I will for each brew leave one at room temp, one in the refrigerator and one in a cold location to see if there is a pattern or if this is a one off.

Does anyone have any experience with this happening?
