Mighty Mouse in the Middle East

So as some of y’all in the oil patch know..... shit here in the U.S. of A. Is hit-and-miss. I was grinding for 11 years in the frac Industry.

Started at good ol blue learned my ass off and went on my way. Fast forward 7 years, and I was called to help start a well-known frac company as employee 1. Had a great president for the company but the owners wanted to do too much. To which the president retired. Well it’s the oil field and when new corporate people come in they tend to bring in their guys. No hard feelings. But, I will not hold my tongue for anybody I don’t care what your title is. Well, that was my downfall and I accepted that.

Don’t lose your job in a downturn number one rule I was always told..... I was also told by my first supervisor, save a years worth of salary before buying anything....... the same supervisor also told me don’t take shit from any other man but your pops........ I love that man for this guidance. So when the new Vice President popped off to me.... wrong guy and wrong time! Fast forward ..... I was fired but I held my head high and stole all the tools I had in my truck fuck em!!! Lol

It has been up and down the whole time I been in the oil industry...

So I was offered a spot with my new company to travel and work in Middle East. Uhm work half the year for more money..... fucking sign me up.

Now .... I’m not at the least afraid of working in the Middle East. Even if they send me up north close to Iraq. I am however, afraid of flying, but need to get over that thanks for Valium and tequila. I’m not to into the social media crap but I do love the forums .... most of all, this one.

Meso has been a home to me and my attitude on things since I came around. Figured I would do an off topic thread on good ol Mighty Mouse working in the Middle East. I will update about the food, gyms, and different shit I encounter.

I will respect the Muslim religion and locals cause.... lets be honest their laws are about as strict as they come.

I am able to bring over my test cause I have a prescription but that’s it unless I mix some stuff in my prescription bottle. Or make a mix of something to bring in my prescription bottle.

I will keep y’all updated on the gyms, food, people, and my personal unfiltered perspective of an American working in Saudi.

I don’t work with a crew I’m a single man ops and will travel the roads by myself from location to location.

Been waiting about 7 months now (corona) for my passport and now that I finally got my passport and approved work visa I’m off!

I don’t think this will violate any rules if it does @millardbaker let me know.

So last night I had pasta rice and fresh fish! Then topped it off with some cheese cake desert.

Most people know i drink ... A LOT. Weird giving my liver enzymes are always perfect but my nightly routine was around 5-6 shots tequila and 7-8 shots worth of vodka and water.

I’m on day 3 no drinking and my body is feeling it. Kind of like a withdraw but I do have Valium if it get to bad to bear.

First up for food was pasta and rice

Rice tasted like shit but pasta was great

Second course was fish. I picked the fresh fish and he cooked it for me

One was fried the other was grilled. It was good

Then as I was heading back to the room I passed the damn desert and had to get a cheesecake to go

Earlier walked to the gnc about a mile from my room...... first thing they don’t belive in the damn push button cross walks soooo you have to wait till a little green fella shows a walking motion and cross at your own risk cause drivers here don’t care about it.

Got this shit he said was like American 80’s crack IMG_6965.jpg

Nope it’s like every thing else from gnc 5 scoops and you feel aight

Just because it’s wrote in Arabic it’s still like the American version

So a bunch of places here you eat with your hands regardless how many people there are. Went to a restaurant and my coworkers picked out the food ....... they came and brought it all out and put it in front of us. Not sure what the hell it was.... had some lamb chops and some beef cooked with tomatos and some other stuff. It was ducking good IMG_6975.jpg

Followed up with some warm tea that was sweet and good. IMG_6979.jpg

One thing happened yesterday that was great if you know then you know
IMG_6963.jpg

Went bowling and had a great time. Now it’s time to do a little work then off to the gym I will post some pics of the gym when I get there

The bottom line is you will respect their Islamic religion by staying the fuck off their lands.

These people don't fuck around. It's not playtime for them, religion and culture is everything. You as a western white guy if captured will be put on your knees, and your head will be sawed off with a knife slowly as you gargle and choke on your own blood.

I've watched hundreds of uncensored videos of Muslims in these regions doing what they do, beheading, amputations, executions.

Just because you feel safe one day doesn't mean shit, you are entering into a region with wolves and they will stalk their prey, if they can kidnap an American citizen that is the ultimate prize. When a mercenary was asked about Iraq and what would happen to him if he walked the streets, he said with in an hour you'd have a video of him getting his head sawed off.

The least you owe yourself is heading over to a gore website that has thousands of uncensored videos so you can watch what it's like when a westerner is put on his knees and a knife is slowly put to work.

Most Islamic people I know personally and I know a lot are from Saudi. They are not like Most Iraqis at all. Hell a few even asked if they could go to a church service with me. Now I’m not so religious that I go to church every Sunday but I do talk religion and differences with them and they seemed like they like the conversation. After all Christians and Muslims believe in the same god. The god of Abraham.

But with that said I will not travel to iraq or Iran for the simple fact radical Islamic is taught open there. My supervisor is Iraqi with dual citizenship and he has many of chances so far to saw on my noggin and hasn’t yet..... maybe he plotting who knows but so far I have been treated with more respect by Saudis here... than Anywhere in America.

Got to watch out for the Indians and pakis though they try to get over on you.

Went bowling last night and I was the only white dude there. Nothing but Saudis, the Indians and Pakistanis can’t afford to go out and do this most the time. They kept buying me cokes and tea.

This is just my perspective though. My first day here I walked the alleys getting to know the surroundings at around 1-2 am and only thing that almost got me was this fucking cat that jumped out the trash can.

I’m always keeping an eye out and my head on a swivel but so far seems great.

No god damn tequila though

Abrahams story is exactly the same in the Koran and bible, as are many stories.
Bye bye billie goat

MM, I drank for 40 years, the last 20 or so like you, Teq, Vodka daily. After a couple weeks of dealing with it and withdrawl, I no longer care it ever existed, no craving, etc. Now, I cant go back to what I was doing, that much is obvious, buts its simple and awesome feeling to stay away from it. Best of luck to you over there in muzzie-land...

Thanks bro, I’m def going to cut back once I get home and only drink occasionally when me and the wife go out. Didn’t think alcohol would have this bad of a withdrawal but like I’m weirdly tired right now and this is the time of day (8:30pm here) I would be drinking.

Also when I went bowling yesterday was the first time I bowled and didn’t consume alcohol and I had fun.

Plus the wife has been on me to quit drinking so much she worries about my long term health.

But, when I drink mostly I’m at the house I don’t fight and just keep to myself. It made me somewhat of an insomniac I believe. Maybe this job here will help me with quiting some bad habits and hitting the gym hard as I used to.
