"Bruce Lee studied a deadly fighting style his whole life and was widely accepted as the greatest martial artist ever to live."
Bruce Lee himself admitted he was not the greatest martial artist of his time, admitting he would lose in a fight to a man named "Judo Gene Lebell." BTW, for those who believe Lee's "formless" art would rule in a real fight, do your research. Several Jeet Kun Do competitors have competed in the UFC, and all were about murdered. Although I hate Tank Abbott and I think the Gracie family is arrogant, they showed the Martial Arts two things: 1st, that having a black belt in something will not keep you from being punched in the face. 2nd, that since most fights end on the ground, therefore mastering takedowns and submissions will do more than any karate kick in a real fight.
Also, how does saying Bruce Lee could beat Chuck Norris counter my assertion? Remember, Chuck Norris was a karate champion, and again, Karate DOES NOTHING IN A REAL FIGHT. Shit, I am sure that if Tank Abbott had a nickel for every black belt he has KO'ed outside of a bar, he would be a very rich man. Also, no one buys this "the martial arts are about peace, spirituality, lifestyle, etc." What the hell are you talking about? Maybe someone should inform Mirko or Fedor about this, because they think fighting is about kicking someones ass. Boy, DO THEY HAVE IT WRONG!
I do wish Bruce Lee was a real fighter, I really do. I wish karate really was effective. Think about it: Instead of watching 1hr of two guys rolling around in quasi-homo-erotic positions, we could watch Bruce Lee spring off of the top of the Octogon, and yell "Judo Chop!" Shit, I would pay money to see a karate chop KO someone! And it would at least be one of the funniest things I have ever seen!

P.S. Ironically, Judo does not incorporate chops, so I dont know where Austin Powers got that name for it.
