Who drinks it to add extra calories and who finds it to be a problem digesting? I am thinking of starting to drink it again to put on a little more weight. I always thought the proccessing of it killed protein and calcium, which is why i stopped it. When i did drink it i always took some Lactase capsules to help digest the lactose, because it would give me gas if i drank enough. Then again everything i ate gave me gas :)

If i wanted to gain weight I would definitely add in milk. Natural peanut butter sandwich with a glass of milk. Yummy

Milk is king! I drink it with every meal. Of course, if you're lactose intolerant or it otherwise doesn't agree with you, you've got to find another source. For those of us lucky enough to handle the bacteria and the steroids, it can be a wonderful and, in my opinion, good-tasting source of protein.

The best milk of all is "raw milk"; in other words, milk that hasn't been pasteurized or homogenized. I know what you're thinking: you could die from drinking that! Unless you're a toddler or old and feeble, however, the risk is small. Getting your hands on the stuff is tough; you have to go straight to the dairy or know a farmer that will sell you the stuff. But it's definitely worth it.

You know why babies grow so fast, right? They drink milk all day.

Funny you should mention the natural peanut butter, because i was going to get some from the natural food store. I have some regular kind that i was going to eat before with my waffles, but i desided against it

yeah, something about cottonseed oil that makes me want to avoid regular pb like the plague. I have natty pb and really like the taste. the first couple of times it was soso and now I love it

Not to nitpick, but the fact that babies are drinking milk all day has nothing to do with their rate of growth.

Absolutely! A bulking diet isn't complete until you've had a natty pb sandwich with a milk chaser. And if your stomach bothers you when you drink milk, try Lactaid Milk. No problems here.

Yeah, I know. I was waiting for someone to call me on that one. That said, I do think it is one of the best means to weight-gain out there. A tall glass of cold milk with a natural peanut butter sandwich is about as complete nutrition as you can get without supplementation...and tastes great, too!

Hmmm. Good point Grizz. Maybe sucking on breasts makes you grow! On to the Training Forum! Daddy's got a whole new program!:D

I go through 4 gallons per week and have for the past 10+ years.

i ran into one problem with milk. i drank it at only one meal, my large dinner. this is where i ate alot of my meat and green veggies. milk can inhibit the body from the absorbtion of iron when consumped with it. so just make sure you space them out or eat the crap more then once a day.
p.s. thats why i was so tired an lazy., well tired at least

What exactly is a natural peanut butter sandwich?

I eat a whole wheat bagel with natural PB, a banana, and a shaker full of milk everyday. That's my meal #2. Plus, I mix all my protein powder with milk, I can't stand the taste with H2O.

Dolfe. They just mean "natural" like Whole Foods.

I've done a gallon of chocolate milk in under an hour on multiple occassions. Ok, ok, ok, one time it might have been an hour and five minutes. :)

My wife had 4 kids and breast fed them all......I had a lot of her milk, but i never got any bigger....My kids did grow a lot
