I'm in need for help from knowledgeable people, as I currently have explored all avenues known to me for this issue.

Doctors tell me they don't see what's wrong.

I've been suffering from low energy/fatigue for the past 10 years, with no apparent reason:

- all bloods come back normal
- all hormones are in range, test and free test are top of the range
- blood glucose is good and low
- I had candida overgrowth in the gut which I cured
- I removed all foods I'm allergic / sensitive to
- I tested for sleep apnea, I don't have it
- I have normal sleep patterns
- I train 4 days a week at moderate intensity between weight lift and cardio.
- Never taken any AAS
- Healthy diet with good amount of fats, protein, veggies, almost no sugars
- don't drink caffeine
- a gallon of water per day

My wish with this post is that someone could indicate me a path I haven't explored yet that could explain my extreme fatigue upon waking and my low energy levels.

It takes me a good 15 mins to wake up, and I almost can't wake up below 7 hours sleep.

I have huge dark circles under my eyes, heavy legs, and I don't grow muscles no matter how much I eat.

I cramp easily and get exhausted quickly during exercise.

Appreciate your help

Did you have a comprehensive metabolic panel done? If so, what was your calcium?

Just asking because I had similar symptoms before I was diagnosed with hyperparathyroidism.

By chance have you looked into a chiropractor and also acupuncturist? Chiropractor would be my first thought as I've seen many patients see tremendous increases in energy levels, myself included

I did, and it was indeed necessary as I had quite a few chiropractic adjustments to be made.
Can't say I feel a lot better after 6 months of adjustments, but it definitely unlocked my spine and my neck

Can you please detail what they test for in the comprehensive metabolic panel, or give me a link?
I know I tested for minerals couple years ago and everything was normal

The history of chiropractic medicine.
Joe Rogan. I've never been to a chiropractor but this makes me think twice!

I'm just guessing, but based on your OP, I would guess your diet is a contributing factor. If you've already killed off the candida, "almost no sugars" sounds like a bad idea when dealing with chronic fatigue. Low blood glucose is not always a good thing. Continuing to eat the way you did when you were battling the yeast infection will deprive your body of the same things as the yeast did, and the symptoms will be very similar. If you increase your carbs and the infection returns, then you haven't cured the root problem yet.

I'm eating a minimum amount of carbs and will continue to do so as it's the diet that starves the candida.
Carbs may not be what sparks the Candida, but it's what fuels it. If you have any potential root cause in mind that could be the spark, please let me know.

Paleolithic men used to thrive on protein and fat mainly, with only 50 to 100g carbs a day, were shredded, muscular, and had none of the modern diseases.
They lived easily up to 70 years in very good shape, and the average life expectency being 35 years old was only due to accidents happening (being muredered, killed by a lion, an elephant...) which happened frequently.

Modern society has you believe that you need carbs for energy, which is a fallacy.
Our body are designed to draw energy from protein and fats mainly.
Carbs are the spark for all modern diseases

Then it's a good thing you're a Paleolithic man....

You said in the OP you cured the candida overgrowth, but you are eating as if it's still a problem for you. That's the root cause I was referring to.

I'll go with Doc's quote above.

Er, I believe neither what you wrote about me, nor your assertions on body design and carbs. But I wish you luck on your journey and hope you find a solution.

You said it much more nicely than I would have.

There's so much wrong in his post I'm not sure where I would begin...

Don't think he meant it to be patronizing. But dogma tends to trump reason (no pun intended). Wasn't much point in continuing : )

So if you were smoking, got lung cancer, then quit smoking and cured your cancer, you would resume smoking because now you're cured?

That's the same logic

It's only the same logic if you subscribe to certain beliefs that I discount due to personal experience and research. But I'm not going to have "the Paleo" argument with you. I was only trying to be helpful. You are free to do as you like.

I'll say it for the both of us :) :

Paleo diet is the one of the most ridiculous and dogmatic dieting ideologies out there.

I'll speak from my own and only experience: since I started following the paleo diet one year ago I feel already a lot more energetic, mentaly clear, less lethargic after meals.
It also put a stop to the progress of my renal disease.
Everytime I eat something that contains gluten once in a while, my urine becomes almost instantly darker and I feel quite nauseous.

I'm not there yet, but this diet has sure been a progress for me in the quest for energy

I sure hope you're not eating any dairy whatsoever, no potatoes, no tomatoes, no eggplant, no fava beans, no peanuts, no chickpeas, no lentil beans, etc etc.

Exactly what i was gonna suggest...possible thyroid issue?
