My friend's mom works at a hospital as a volunteer (she's a bible-thumper) and she said she saw a pair of twins named after different jello flavors. I wonder if that's the same kids? Strange you posted that!

I think the Lemonjello (lah-MON-JA-LO) name must be getting popular. My sis-in-laws husband is a juvenile case worker and he told me along time ago that he knew a kid named that.

I went to highschool w/ a girl named Carrie/Kari Hunt... people called her Hairy Cunt... I think she switched schools and probably changed her name.

At one place I worked a long time ago the black guys there (majority of them related) had unique names like greek/myth/ect... names. Thank goodness they all had nicknames. They were kind enough to give me a nickname of my own. It was Cracka, Whitey, or Honky Mutha Fucka... lol j/k.

Seriously tho, I've no idea why people think they should burden their kids with something "different" just so they (the parents) can feel smug about it. Nothing worse than hearing the "This is my child who is called (whatever) because.. (whatever...long, boring story)" At this point your expected to go "Awwww how sweet your really lucky" but I prefer to respond with.....the PEOPLES THUMB!

I agree with Gav, I think it's tragic when some attention seeking parents call their kids odd names.

For a girl I like the name Charlotte, classy, and good nick names - Lotte when they are young, Charlie when older.
