Moving from Test C to Test U for TRT

So I know some people have interest in Test U.

Test U itself has roughly a 21 day half life. It will help create less difference between the drug peak and trough on a weekly dose compared to test C
Some people may prefer this as theoretically may reduce the possible need for an AI(Yes this is controversial topic for TRT users).
This ester is not advised for people that are not on TRT as the PCT would be a pain in the ass.
You can do this ideally every 1-3 weeks. I personally use it weekly.

If I go on a trip and may be away for 2 weeks, I will hit myself with a double dose. No, I do not feel a difference.
If I do go onto a blast I will slap Test C onto Test U, but my Test U dosage will stay Static(unchanged)

So what is an ideal calculation that someone will go from Test C to Test U?

Lets say weekly dose of Test C is 200mg, your target Test U dose may be 10% higher(220mg)

The week after stopping test C, for the next 2 weeks you will give yourself 3x target dose of Test U(660mg) and then continue at 220mg weekly.


TU dose = (Test C dose) x 1.1
Loading dose for 2 weeks= (Target Test U Dose) x 3

for the two weeks where you’re Tripling your dose of test U.. are you breaking that up? Or one 3x injection all at once for week 1, and then the following week the second 3x injection?


Edit: I wonder if coming off a high test blast if you could just pick up the test U as normal? Guess I need to play with the calculator.

I'd rather do 3.3ml of Test U(Assuming its 200mg/ml) on the same day each week.(I usually do it on Wed/Thurs)

3-4 months if the carrier oil is castor oil. For MCT roughly half

If you want absolute steady levels you should start 3 months earlier. If its just a one time thing you need on a tight spot, it would do. Add 10% more

I would front load. Depending on how long. Maybe even 1250mg before you leave for your trip

Whats the differenc in smoothness, pins, is the oil thicker? Does it cristalize often? I want to know all the differences of test u vs test e. All i know is U ester is longer in body.

Depends on the carrier oil. I have seen one crystallize but it was during winter time.

It really has no difference to me vs injecting Test C

Testo U is a fine choice for trt/cruise purposes for most people.

Here I will list advantages/disadvantages from my own perspective:

+ Once weekly injections or e10d, even every two weeks is possible with this ester.
+ Super stable Testosterone levels.
+ A relief from cycle or usual injection schedule.
+ Absolutely no pip, I don't feel anything. Usually injecting T C/E I had slight post injection bump and I felt it, with TU I can't even say if I injected anything the next day. (Possibly for some this doesn't apply).

- In case you suddenly need to come off, half life being 3 to 5 weeks (sesame or similar vs castor oil). It will take a good 100 days or at least 3 months.
- Individuals prone and sensitive to high estrogen like myself need to re-dial their AI to suit TU. Due to steady release of T and lack of peaks & valleys, estrogen is there to overcompensate for high stable T levels. (It takes a good while for body to adapt and reach some homeostasis for sensitive guys like me).
- Sucks to load and if you're prone to feel off when levels fluctuate expect a bumpy ride until you're stable.
- It is weaker than enanthate or cypionate. Even if on paper there's slight difference in reality and in my experience - 250mg TU is closer 200mg TE. (TT bloods, feelings).

I'd rather pin twice a week subq test E for stable levels instead of that trial and error to find what's your sweet spot with estrogen conversion and how much AI you need to take and how often. Test U seems perfect for me in case you go a trip somewhere for more than 10-15 days, other than that i wouldn't mess with hormonal fluctuations unless someone is commited to true trt, then yeah why not? But if someone cruises for weeks and then blasts, then starting test U again for cruising then blast..it seems like a lot of hussle. Also you have to calculate how you will taper it off and start blasting with faster esters.

Test U is when you accept testosterone for life (not really but kinda). Like i literally see no downsides with test U if you choose this route.

Oh, so you ll be indefinitely in test U and you will combine it with faster esters everytime you wanna blast? Interesting approach, i haven't seen anyone running same compound with different esters simultaneously.
