Mug warmer

I am back to home brewing again. I used to use a electric single burner. Do you think a mug warmer will get hot enough for brewing?

It takes a very very long time to heat 100ml of oil on a coffee cup warmer. I just bought a hot plate and once it's at 120F I switch it over to the coffee cup warmer. Otherwise you will be waiting a minimum of 45 minutes

I just use a water bath on my gas stove. Been doing that for 20 years
