As we all know, when training at the gym they usually just play the radio, and if I have to do another chest workout listening to Justin Timberlake where is the love, I think i'm going to unleash my roid rage on the receptionist!

Which is one of the reasons i've been training at home lately along with the annoyance of having to wait to use equipment at the gym.

So just out of curiousity, what music/songs give you guys the motivation you need to do that extra rep on the bench.

Mine are : Tupac - Hitemup

Eye of the tiger

Eminem - Soldier

:) Look forward to seeing some of your replies

I Like D12's Fight Music. Atleast i think its D12 or Eminem or someone.
Anything that has a good tempo. Hell some Ole' AC/DC works sometimes too. Welcome to the jungle baby!!! that one never gets old!!

OMG! Fight music! I completely forgot about this since I got this new HDD. SoulSeek here we come!

i mainly listen to death metal on my mp3. the harder and faster the beat the more it motivates me.
had to get the mp3 cause i got tired of trying to work out at golds listening to evanesence and all the other music that should be played in a doctors office not a gym.

OMG, that elevator Musak stuff sucks. That's why I loved the old YMCA from back home, the free weight room was downstairs, and we could blast whatever music we wanted and you could not hear it upstairs. If you could hear the weights clank, it was too low. Now, that keeps the adrenaline pumping.

there was a post about this a few months ago and some bros recomended some of my now favorite songs to lift to:
Taproot- Poem
Queens of the stoneage- first giveth
Rage against the machine - gurrelia radio
anything metalica just about is awesome
and i started adding some Kid Rock, someone's gotta feel this and bawitadba

cardio i switch to high energy punk rock, good charlotte, green day, new found glory, ....

I think most of the shit on the radio is...SHIT! and even the music i like doesn't pump me up anymore. I now use my ninja mind control techniques to get me going through my workouts ;)

Randy Travis wooooo!!! Oh yea!!!! just jokeing. I like metal shit like nailbomb something hardcore to make ya want to rip a head off!!

MUDVAYNE!!! that shit gets me going like nothing else.

I also pump Saliva, Linkin Park's first disc, Metallica Black album, Godsmacks first disc.

Before I work out I throw my mix in that has the theme song from Terminator 2 and that shit just gets me so pumped up that I get in there and fuckkkkk shit up!

Sorry I cant fuckin lift to rap, or listen to it at all for that matter....makes me constipated :D

Metallica- And Justice For All/Kill em all/Black
Pantera
Motley Crue
Rage
Mudvayne
Soil
Disturbed
Sevendust

and the list goes on........

for some reason thought i cant listen to this stuff when im not pushin weights. I stick to good ole Lonestar Texas Country, Classic Rock, Bluegrass, and 80s Rock :D
