Interested in thoughts from experienced folks. 53 yr old male.
SO last 4 weeks (Dec 25-Jan 25) I added Anavar and increased my test (and changed my ester) as an experiment. I was on 190 mg test cypionate at clinic prior since late summer (started at 230 lbs) but not going anymore now that I have learned a few things and sourced a cheaper supply. Dec 25 onwards I added 60 mg/wk test sustanon to my current 190 mg test-c and switched injections to EOD. Anavar was 20 mg in morning and 20 mg in early evening. pretty interesting recomp results when compared to last 6 months and specifically when compared over a 2 month period (Nov-Dec vs Dec-Jan). Held other variables as constant as possible. HAd some peptides in the mix as well (Reta 4mg, 5 Amino MQ, KLOW, MOTS, SS31, NAD) the key graph is the RATE of change which i think shows the Anavar effect. 30% more fat loss and over double muscle gain compared to month before.
Nov-Dec fat loss -3.6% (-8.8 lbs)
Dec-Jan fat loss -5.1% (10.6 lbs)
Nov-Dec muscle gain 0.9 lbs
Dec-Jan muscle gain 4.4 lbs
BMR increase supports (+21 vs +80)
No ill effects on libido or anything else for that matter-i think the E2-test ratio is ok.
I am heading to a surgery in a couple weeks so wanted to maximize my gym time prior and set myself up for minimal muscle lost while I am benched. Still playing with some post recovery ideas (test 500 + primo 400 +/- a dusting of something else TBD).
Note regarding labs...the labs prior to dec 29 were at clinic and were taken on last day of the cypionate half life and in the afternoon. The Dec 29 labs were taken fasted in morning and after adding the shorter ester Sustanon into the meal plan so while I thinking it hadn't really expressed itself fully it shows a much higher value than I was getting because of timing but also possibly due to the blend shorter esters.
labs on Dec 29 already showed liver and HDL effect funny enough. Note the test doesn't reflect the addition of the Sustanon ester since i had just started it...was curious what the shorter ones would do)
HDL 32 mg/dL (prior was 61)
AST 99 IU/L (prior was 16)
HLD/LDL ratio 4.5 (prior was 2,9)
Total test: 1319 (prior 1035 on 180 mg)
Free Test 382 (prior 43 on 180 mg)
ultra sensitive Estradoil 71 (prior (not u/s: 56.7)
Prolactin 6.2
Next labs are on Feb 3.
Appreciate constructive thoughts on this and future.
