Those bikes are fast as hell, and the sound....lol, well, it sounds like a jet passing by. Jay Leno has one. He talked about taking it out for a ride one day and some dude in a Lexas got a little too close at a red light. Melted the front fascia of his car! lol, exhaust temps are likely to be at least 800 degrees! :D

There are two where I live. Havent seen them since two summers ago but they used to drive up and down a blvd near my house all day. Sounds like a helicopter when they start up and like a jet when they go by.
 
You wouldn't say that if you had heard one. What about going like nine thousand miles an hour? Oh yea and don't forget roasting marshmellows.

well its good for just about everything you described but thats about it..

unless you're interested in setting the land speed record in a straight line on 2 wheels - i'd perfer 4 myself..

yeah they do sound nice, i've heard on..

actually what i ment about being pointless is those bikes can't be ridden like a typical sport bike with that type of type engine - yet they are designed as if they could.. i dunno - its a rick mans toy - that why lenno has one.. i guess..

I saw the special on those jet bikes. I wouldn't mind having one but....... They have shitty throttle response and take a few seconds to wind down when you let off. Thats a very dangerous problem for anyone that may be a less then knowledgable rider. Jay Leno has been riding for years and has about 15 bikes.

Oh and Dolfe, don't be mad because you either don't have one or cannot afford one buddy.......
