My friends weird workout program

Hi,
So my friend told me yesterday that she was put on a new diet by a nutritionist and I asked her for the details and she told me that she does 2 minutes of very high intensity cardio between each meal. So 3-5 times a day she goes nuts for 2 mins and then nothing until after her next meal.
She said the nutritionist said it was optimal for hormone release. She is trying to lose weight. Does anyone know what this regime is called so I can google it or what you think about it. Thanks.
 
"Stupid" is what it's called. It's a basterdized version of HIIT but for the lazy few. HIIT will help you body burn calories yes but the sustainability of the calories it helps you burn after you are done is nil and the hormone release is basically a crock O shit. If you are interested in losing weight eat less calories then when you don't want to eat less incorporate 10-15mins of HIIT post workout. If you can do it for longer then 10-15mind then you aren't going hard enough (pending I'm not talking to Brooke wells or someone of that stature)

Calories in vs calories out to lose weight. Fats and rest help regulate hormones. Carbs is our fuel. Protien is your building blocks.
